Another just as effective use of music in ER was when Nurse Jeanie Boulet took care of Doctor Anspaugh’s 13 year old son Scotty, as he died from cancer.

Really, really sad story arc. He kept talking about how he had never kissed a girl, or drove a car.

As he died, he played the Green Day song “Time of Your Life.”

I used to love ER, but stopped watching after they got politically correct and started pushing the homosexual agenda heavily, and getting rid of Doctors Romano and Marucchi, the only conservative doctors on staff.

Brooke has a country-sounding twang to her voice. Her voice and style are not suited to today's pop music, so I don't know what other genre she'd fit in.
