Maybe Carly will take Brooke under her wing like Reba and Reba’s husband did with Kelly Clarkson.

Were you here when we were moved into TSBR? It was so funny, because we are not the most racy group. We would post “hell” and giggle for an hour.

I don't think I was here, but I can't be sure. I've always enjoyed reading and posting to these threads because people can post such hilarious things. I 've never laughed so much reading anything! I imagine the SBR is the bomb!!

I'd respond to you, but I'm already late to see my shrink.

LOL!

"Yes, Dr. Sorry I'm late, but there's this person on FR whose driving me nutz, and that's why I'm paying you a bagazillion dollars an hour just so you can tell me how I should respond so I don't sound like a total wacko!" ;-)

I first heard Izzy’s Somewhere Over the Rainbow in “Finding Forrester” and it was such a moving film, so appropriate for the setting, that it changed my mind about hearing it done so differently, forever.

Same here. Bought the soundtrack to Finding Forrester just for Izzy's Somewhere Over the Rainbow, but it's the only song on the whole soundtrack I even like. The rest is depressing!

Jason's version, while not as good as Izzy's, is good enough and makes me happy. ";^)

I first heard Izzy’s version on the E.R. episode that had kindly Dr. Mark Greene dying of his brain tumor. It was a three kleenex box episode and Izzy’s version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow was the reason.

Okay, we have to stop. Just reading that you are crying is making me cry. We are such girls! LOL

Ok, get this. My co-worker, let's just call her Mary (because that's her name), cried during Pirates Of The Carribean. She won't even watch The Notebook for fear of drowning. So now that you know this, for about six months it seemed like everytime she came in to the office something would be wrong with her 950 Turbo Saab, that she would spend $300.00 clams (sorry Lobsta) to fix everytime something went wrong and it was getting ridiculous so I kept telling her just buy a new car. Well, finally last week she broke down and bought a new one.

When I told her the new car she finally bought looked nice, she started crying because she said she missed her old car. "But you have a new one, I said! "I don't care I loved that old car!" Ok, it's a week later and a gentleman comes up to my window (I'm a banker) and wants $400.00 clams. Now Mary is next to me and she's doing whatever, and I asked the guy how he wanted him moola? "Large please. I found this great deal on a car at the Subaru place. It's 950 Turbo Saab, it belonged to some babe named, Mary."

Have you guys ever seen an actual coniption fit? Mary's head started splitting wide open and I was standing in a pool of three inches of teardrops in less than two minutes...The spicket was turned on full blast! I still don't think she has stopped crying!

Before I left work tonight I could still hear Mary sobbing trying to convince herself the guy was getting a terrible deal and whether or not she should just "Get it over with!"

Brooke's got nothing on my co-worker Mary in the warterworks dept!

LOL!! Late May until January I’m hardly on FR because of no AI. We’ll have to have an “Escape From All Things Political” Daily thread. I’m sure we aren’t the only ones who will need it! LOL Big huge AMEN! I can't take the politics right now. It nauseates me.

I think Brooke is too I think Brooke is too emotionally overwrought to withstand the rigors of a career in show biz.to withstand the rigors of a career in show biz.

Something happened to Brooke because she was bringing it for "You're So Vain" and "Love is a Battlefield." She never recovered from the "Here Comes The Sun" moment and I'm still studying her to figure out why. It doesn't make much sense because it was almost like she went from a professional performer to this amaturish "emotionally overwrought" mess.

If you really watch her during You're So Vain, she is in the zone no doubt. So I don't know exactly yet what caused her to go all schiziod and nervous during her performances?

There would definately be a market there for her music/style if she could put it back together.

I was trying to catch up on the thread, and it would appear that somewhere around post 6400, someone forgot to place the prozac salt licks in the corners of the room ;-) LOL SHeesh....if it werent for the gut busting laughs I get from watching AI, and reading this thread, I would have slashed my wrists years ago LMAO
Some people just do not appreciate the subtlties of high brow/non-drug induced sarcasm, and given the world situation, getting your knickers in a knot over a comment made on this irreverant thread, I find to be hysterically funny LOL! (Im cracking up here!!—See you all next week)
Keep Smiling everyone! :-)

I suspect she'll release a country CD in a year or so. Remains to be seen how successful she'll be though. I have my doubts.

What a funny coincidence!! And it makes me pine for the HP threads. Even the "HP is the devil" threads.

They were so entertaining...;)

"It's been overwhelming," Castro continued. "I got 150 balloons yesterday delivered to the studio because people heard I was sick last week. That's cool, but that's just weird." LOL, well you do kinda have to admit that is weird. ;)
