LOL!! You are it!
Frank- silent_jonny
Dean- ME!
Sammy- rock_lobsta
Judy Garland- BamaDi
Joey- Anitius Severinus Boethius
Oh I can’t pass up being Dean. He was the coolest.
OOO!!! You could be LIZA!! That calls for glitter text.
If he did, Jillian didn't share it with the 'Good Day L.A.' audience. She just said Neil thought Monchichi and Dreads did really BAD jobs with their performances.
My opinion...Monchichi sings every song he does -- and I mean EVERY song -- like a bad cruise ship singer wannabe. And Dreads isn't even that good. He sings every song like someone singing for drinks and tips in some backwater bar in a tiny hamlet in the middle of nowhere. He brings zero emotion or life to his singing.
Check out the ad sparklee.com put in my post with my glitter text! LOL
I loved Dread’s version of Izzy’s Somehwere Over the Rainbow...
Ed
I do, too. I don't think there's a real star among this year's group, but think that Syesha has developed and improved the most over the course of the season. As a result, I think she has the most long-term potential.
I think Cook is probably the most saleable in pop music, and I think Monchichi appeals to the same tweens and young teens who like Disney's Hannah Montana, the Princess Diaries, etc. I think Brooke is too emotionally overwrought to withstand the rigors of a career in show biz. And I think Dreads has a cute face, a seemingly nice personality, but not much musical talent -- at least none we've seen on the show.
Well anything that calls for glitter text is perfect. Any text that uses real stars is even more perfect. :)
Fair enough, Sir Ed. Musical tastes are highly individual and personal, after all. I didn't like it, though, but then I don't like that version of Over The Rainbow no matter who does it.
This is growing pretty quick...
Here’s the list so far... and what a list it is...
Frank Sinatra: silent_jonny
Dean Martin: retrokitten
Sammy Davis, Jr.: rock_lobsta
Peter Lawford: Republican Red
Joey Bishop: Anitius Severinus Boethius
Judy Garland: BamaDi
Liza Minelli: Wolfstar
But there’s so many more Rats to name!
Humphrey Bogart:
Lauren Bacall:
Katherine Hepburn:
Spencer Tracy:
David Niven:
Swifty Lazar:
Norman Fell:
Angie Dickinson:
Shirley McLaine:
Juliet Prowse:
Going to the 40’s Rat Pack? Ok, I want to switch to Bogart!
Okay, ASB is now Boggie. So, Wolfstar can be Joey if she wants, but personally, I’d stay Liza. There is so much more potential for crazy behavior and glitter fonts.
Since you are a fan of Jason’s, you will love this:
http://www.castrocopia.com/ Go to this link and scroll down a little and you will find Jason’s Forever in Bluejeans. It is his studio version as posted on YouTube. It is really good.
Brooke was on Fox and Friends today. They hooked her up with Carly Simon and she said that Brooke sang “You’re So Vain” better than she (Carly) ever has or could. Carly had so many nice things to say. You will hear from Brooke again. Carly sounded like a real fan. Brooke was so gracious and turned the compliments around.
It was a lovely surprise that lifted my (and Brooke’s) spirits immensely! ;) (see post #6563)
I first heard Izzy’s Somewhere Over the Rainbow in “Finding Forrester” and it was such a moving film, so appropriate for the setting, that it changed my mind about hearing it done so differently, forever.
It’s now my favorite version.
Ed
Can I be Shirley McLain, she’s wack! lol
Ok, now I'm giggling.
Chairman of the Bored.
That seriesly works for me.
