No, he was a little trooper (or just delirious with fever). However, we never heard the end of it when the others were sick. I read about it on a few forums; I don’t know where it was reported. I just watched the performances again and my heart is breaking for Brooke. :(

My favorite complaint about the judges advice is when they tell some hapless contestant to "branch out, show us what else you can do." The poor sucker does just that, and then gets told, "You need to be true to yourself and your own style. This song just wasn't you, man." sheeeeesh

I was just reading some comments on another Idol forum. It seems that poor Dreads was SICK last night! And not a peep about it from him. Also, many said that David A. and Carly (I thought so) also flubbed their lyrics and yet not a peep from the judges.

I didn't realize Castro messed up his lyrics. I just know the singing was bad.

Quite a few have been sick and survived. Syesha was sick early on and she was sick for two weeks. Maybe Castro, loke David C. when he didn't mention his dying brother, just don't want 'sympathy' votes.

I haven’t enjoyed the music they choose for them. Mariah Carey? She can barely sing her own stuff and then last night Andrew Lloyd Weber? Then they proceed to tell contestant “it just isn’t you” or whatever but if that is what you are given and then get trashed for attempting it...Does anyone else think the dude with the dreadlocks (so yesterday) remind you of Tiny Tim- the dude who sang Tip Toe Thru the Tulips?

I don’t think he’s arrogant, but I think that he got that reputation early in the season. When he started he had the habit of tilting his head back and looking down his nose. Someone must have advised him not to do that or maybe he corrected himself after watching video of himself because he doesn’t do it anymore.

And it was the music of the night and you did pretty well......probably because you didn't change it up and make it sound like the crap you've been doing. And except for the obvious arrogance, that keeps emanating from you...your performance wasn't so bad. I kept trying to remember what Disney movie this song was in....and then thinking that you could be good at singing in Disney movies. Then again, you're probably above that, aren't you?

Crap? Yeah right!!! I guess the judges and all of the people buying his music are wrong and you're the only right one. LOL. And I sure didn't see ANY arrogance at all from him last nite. Some people just don't like him. I guess you're one of them.
