It’s good thing AI is in the spring. If it were October it would be a swing and a miss.

David Cook
David chooses a song from "Phantom of the Opera"
Weber:"Music of the Night" is the most senusal song I've ever written. If he just comes out of himself, it might work.
WOW! David delivers a quiet and powerful performance. Very good. I wouldn't mind hearing that again.
Another well-deserved standing-o
Randy: If you can really sing you can sing anything. Dude, that was an amazing vocal performance. Molten hot!
Paula: You are so well rounded as a peformer. Fantastic.
Simon: You made the most of the song. This is not the side of you I like. I prefer the grittier rock side. This was too rounded. But you made the most of the song you were given.

Brooke
Brooke acts like she wants to go home.

You made the most of the song. This is not the side of you I likeWhat? How stupid. He had to sing it. And he made the song very believable.
To: big'ol_freeper
He was good...just got 20 votes in for Brooke. ;)

Syesha Really, I'm surprised she's lasted this long, but tonight she was good. Anybody else have a Fantasia 'shudder' there? The dress was hot. And the hair was super cute.
Jason This kid cracks me up, like, I was all uuuu'uuuh. Not a strong performance. He has no lower register. Oh? He finished singing? I hardly even noticed. Good thing he's a cutie pie.
Brooke = unnnnngh. "You Must Love Me." is *such* an ironic selection.
Monchichi Props for taking something smarmy and making it sound somewhat current (if dentist's office music counts as current). Yaaawn, but not terrible.
Screech Props for being one of the more interesting performances of the evening. It was actually pretty good. All of the contestants should take note - kick it up. Lively songs are soooooooooo much better! The dress sucked, but at least it covered the tatts.
Cook The boy can sing. Wow. But I was craving some guitar. Craving and left wanting.
Best of the night - Cook, Screech, and the Monchichi. Chopping block is everyone else. Going home? Brooke. Too much of the "hurt-puppy-planning-her-revenge-by-chewing-your-slipper" glare.
To: silent_jonny
Brooke is your typical co-dependent personality. Pity poor little me.

I would go with Castro (as much as I love him) and Carly. She was shouty.

Brooke acts like she wants to go home. She should. She got away with restarting her song once, but shouldn't get away with it twice. After all, she's putting herself out there as a professional singer wannabe.
