Mariah: I think it's a good choice for her. I hope it sounds like it's brand new, like it's coming from her heart.
The piano remains on stage, this time with Brooke playing it. No backup singers or band.
This is great! One of the better performances tonight.

Randy: Brooke White in the house! I could feel you lose a little confidence. But it was pretty good.
Paula: Every ounce of you is totally authentic. You're identifiable. This unplugged version was the right thing to do. Challenging, but for you it didn't seem so.
Simon: I don't think It was a bit like ordering a hamburger and only getting the bun. The vital ingredient was missing. I don't think you're voice is strong enough to carry that song.
Randy: The meat was definitely there.
Paula: Where's the beef? (laughing)
