Prior to the song just now, did Ryan say that “Shout to the Lord” was the number one downloaded song from last night’s show? They must be in complete shock.
Praise the Lord!! I downloaded it today and it's fantastic. I just downloaded the video of it so I can see who is singing which part.

Very much so with David C as MJ completely wins the likeability factor in that conteset...now you’re only comparing DC to “the kid” and the passive guy. LOL. At this point, DC is most like Carly, and she’s not necessarily much ‘friendlier’ to most people, so it’s not as much of an issue.
I think Carly may well have had the lowest votes and they kept the phone lines open for “at least 2 hours” (until she no longer was the lowest).
And had that not been to someone seen as more expendable, I think we’d have seen a non-elimination week. If David C had been in the running for that, they’d never have compromised 3 stronger singers the same week...they’d have copied last year instead of making them all look touchable.

But I'm glad someone was eliminated--finally. If not, this week would have been total bs.

Too old at 29, nearly 30. He also never quite found his stride on this show. :( True.
But I enjoy seeing the older contestants in the mix, even if they have a steeper hill to climb.
