Wow! Well cool!! (Other messages boards are DYING that they did the song once, nevermind now a reprise!)
This is quite remarkable...and I’m very glad Jesus got His name allowed back into the lyrics!

I’m looking at iTunes right now and it has Madonna and Justin Timberlake as #1. The closest Idol is Carrie at #6. Oh, and the original version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow (by Israel Kamaksomething) that Castro sang is #8.

It’s awesome, isn’t it? I have Darlene Z’s Hillsong tape - it’s my favorite.

Yeah, it's funny to read the Idol boards and their loathing for all things religious, patriotic and Kristy Lee. I don't know any of these so-called celebs. Except for the two kids because my 5-year old nephew watches their show.

Wow, singing Shout to the Lord againI was impressed that they did that. Idol must have received a lot of positive feedback on that.

Might it be in downloaded performances only from Idol Gives Back that it was #1?
To: retrokitten

Ryan Seacrest should not use the word stool.
Just my observation.
