So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?

My “cowboy” drives a bus by day and a race car on weekends. ;o])

LOL!
I do that, and I hate it. It’s usually a sign that I’m tired, as my fingers leave the keys a little slowly. As long as we don’t pull an “asphalt” and go for 100...

Yessim!

The car has been “worked” on over the off-season, but with any luck, we’ll be at the track (The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway) the second weekend in April. I’m resting all that week, just to make sure I can go without falling down on the job!

We hope!
He’s done about all he can do with the car. The engine is HUGH, and the car is fast, and when he’s at every race during the season, he’s consistent. He has the trophies to prove it!
(I love the smell of high octane and burnt rubber!!)
Of course, now that we’re both “older,” I use a golf cart to get from the Pits to the Track! LOL!

Well, I used to almmost run the distance, but now, I’m grateful for the cart! It carries a lot of people, too!

We really should trim them ourselves, now that they’re older and less amiable toward getting in the cat carriers.

Someday I’ll get up the nerve.

Hey! Global Warming alert!

It’s coming down hard here in Auburn, Washington. Nice, big, fluffy, white flakes, and it’s sticking.

Depends on the cat, too; some are VERY unhappy about having their paws handled. My bedwarmer kitty is less picky about it now that she’s almost 17 years old. The outdoor kitty wasn’t ever picky about it, but, then, I can pick her up and drape her around my neck like a mink stole and she all but doesn’t care. Since she’s all outdoors all the time she needs her claws sharp so I don’t clip hers.

Good thing, too. Last night she brought us a mouse so large that I thought it was a rat when I first saw it. I stretched it out straight; it was nearly a foot from nose to tail tip. EGAD!!

LOL! Heard THAT!!

At the time I said “Lock ‘em in that hotel room and shut off the A/C” because they were holding the negotiations in Hawaii.

Hm. Should be interesting tomorrow in that Global Warming/Green Buildings conference in Seattle I'm attending.

Long day -- as it always is when I have to go into Seattle for a conference or seminar. And then our Internet connection was hosed when I got home.
