What do you think was the best generation?
I am an 80's child myself....and I miss.....
the music,
the fads and fashion......
and a good conservative President - Reagan...
You Are Most Like George W. Bush |
And while you may be quite conservative now, you knew how to party back in the day! |
Night Court, Miami Vice, Heavy Metal.......ahhhhhh good times, goood times......
You cant post THAT! Where’s the “diversity”?
Meatloaf—By The Dashboard Light!
OK, here we go, we got a real pressure cooker going here
Two down, nobody on, no score, bottom of the ninth
There’s the wind-up, and there it is
A line shot up the middle, look at him go
This boy can really fly
He’s rounding first and really turning it on now
He’s not letting up at all, he’s gonna try for second
The ball is bobbled out in the center
And here’s the throw and what a throw
He’s gonna slide in head first
Here he comes, he’s out
No, wait, safe, safe at second base
This kid really makes things happen out there
Batter steps up to the plate
Here’s the pitch, he’s going
Amd what a jump he’s got
He’s trying for third
Here’s the throw
It’s in the dirt, safe a third
Holw cow, stolen base
He’s taking a pretty big lead out there
Almost daring them to pick him off
The pitcher glances over, winds-up and it’s bunted
Bunted down the third base line
The suicide squeeze is on
Here he comes, squeeze play, it’s gonna be close
Here’s the throw, here’s the play at the plate
Holy cow, I think he’s gonna make it
I am hard core country/soft rock. Ask my kids what cds stay in my stereo/cd player!! Bat outta hell and back into hell. LOL Don’t ask me why. Those songs just strike a chord with me, always have.
Thanks for posting the lyrics for the humor impaired. :)

Here’s a laugh for you.....
I’ve recently gotten on an Elvis kick. makes the wife laugh when I imitate the King.
She really cracks up when I do “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” in my Elvis voice.
Thany you, thank you very much.
81 here, and I hear you loud and clear!!
All those old songs are popular again. My youngest son jsut discovered a few of those artists. He’s like—listen to this song. It blows his mind when I know all the words. BWAHAHA
Again speaking of the King....
I recently bought the DVD of the “Aloha From Hawaii” concert. During the song “Suspicious Minds” Elvis squats down on one leg with the other one straight out in front of him and sings,
“I hope this suit don’t tear up baby!”
We almost died laughing.
I was 11 when I bought the “Steppenwolf Live” album. There was one song I could NEVER play when my parents were home.....”The Pusher.” My Dad would have “frisbeed” that record into the woods!!!

Are you related to Canada's Red Green (Dating Tips: "If you aren't handsome, at least be handy!")??
Fish are unionized. They all work for scale.
