Silly me, and here I thought I actually watched Michigan beat floriduh again this year for its bazillionth win against the weak sister SEC school thrown at it, but, alas, Pup has shown me the deep hidden truths of life.

:-)

How's that Georgia Tech program coming these days? Wait! I forgot......you cheer for teams only after they win........

Nice one Cardy, and I’m glad I could walk out into the warm sunshine when I was finished. ;)

Where exactly were all these places? Desolate, but beautiful just the same.

That is Iceland gran - I am with you on that score, it is nice to look at pictures of desolation but not good to too good to have live there. Give me the sunshine and glorious colors of nature of the warmer climates anytime.

Yes there was one with something like Viking on it but you know the Norwegians have some affinity with Iceland too but the Presentation was made by a Portuguese.

I don´t think I would like to live there, I will stay in a warmer place.

Most BCS National Championships The BCS system began in 1998. The AP (later substituted with the Harris poll) and Coaches' polls, computer rankings, strength of schedule, and performance against other top teams were combined into a formula, with the top two teams meeting in the BCS National Championship Game.
Team Recognized titles Winning years
LSU 2 2003, 2007 Florida 1 2006 Texas 1 2005 USC 1 2004 Ohio State 1 2002 Miami 1 2001 Oklahoma 1 2000 Florida State 1 1999 Tennessee 1 1998

Hmmmm... still no Michigan. Didn't they used to play football?

Heh. You really ought to discontinue your addiction to early bird specials, blue hairs, and after the fact fan-ism. It's just.....sad....

I also think you ought to change your name to cute-pimpy after your predilection to choose the school you root for after the game is played.

:-)

I have noticed neither of your Georgia teams are in that vaunted list of yours. I also noticed the one team you almost cheered for early, floriduh, beat those no good Michigan wolvereenies twice during that same time period of the past years. Doh! Wait.......I forgot.....your newly found floriduh chompers actually lost both games to that team you disparage as no longer playing the game of foosball. Along with every other SEC team that they play.

*Michigan, dominator of the SEC*

I do feel bad for you that the Wovereenies have your number and that you find a need to retaliate in such sad, sad ways. Perhaps you should take a vacation from that flat, ugly area of yours, as you need to experience something new in your life. Perhaps you could become an Obama super-delegate.

:-)

uh, ‘scuse me for chiming in but I think I can’t shed some light on the “Is he or isn’t he” question. I don’t get to listen to Rush as often as I would like but I did hear him say last Wednesday that a guest host would be subbing on Thursday and Friday. He said he had 15 guests from around the country arriving that evening and the next day for the weekend. Today, I heard most of the first hour and he talked about his busy weekend and mentioned that most of his guests left early afternoon Sunday. So, there you have it, Rush was busy entertaining house guests from last Wednesday until Sunday afternoon. Still, considering the size and scope of his operation and the demands on his time it isn’t likely he has time to post on any website other than his own.

.

Since Obama first came to national notice at the Dems 2004 convention his consise and smooth oratory style of speaking has been his most consistent and noteworthy trademark. Likewise, when caricatured in political skits he is portrayed as speaking with slow, measured and deliberate answers. So, who is buying it when he tries to excuse away his condescending remarks about Pennsylvania voters to his well-heeled California supporters by saying he "mangled" or used poor "syntax" or that he 'might have said it better' ? He said what he meant and he got caught.

I couldn’t believe what Bill Maher said about the Pope:

“MAHER: Now I know what you’re thinking: “Bill, you shouldn’t be saying that the Catholic Church is no better than this creepy Texas cult.” For one thing, altar boys can’t even get pregnant. But really, what tripped up the little cult on the prairie was that they only abused hundreds of kids, not thousands, all over the world. Cults get raided, religions get parades. How does the Catholic Church get away with all of their buggery? Volume, volume, volume!

If you have a few hundred followers, and you let some of them molest children, they call you a cult leader. If have a billion, they call you ‘Pope.’ It’s like, if you can’t pay your mortgage, you’re a deadbeat. But if you can’t pay a million mortgages, you’re BearStearns and we bail you out. And that is who the Catholic Church is: the BearStearns of organized pedophilia — too big, too fat. When the current pope was in his previous Vatican job as John Paul’s Dick Cheney, he wrote a letter instructing every Catholic bishop to keep the sex abuse of minors secret until the Statute of Limitations ran out. And that’s the Church’s attitude: ‘We’re here, we’re queer, get used to it,’ which is fine, far be it from me to criticize religion. But just remember one thing: if the Pope was — instead of a religious figure — merely the CEO of a nationwide chain of day care centers, where thousands of employees had been caught molesting kids and then covering it up, he’d be arrested faster than you can say ‘who wants to touch Mr. Wiggle?’

LOL, Darlin’!

Leave it up to our very own in house stylist to know when she sees “Prada shoes and Armani shades”.

That is the post of the year, Darlin’! Thank you!
