The new First Lady of France set out to win, charm and delight Great Britian with her personal style and grace. It worked. :) Never, ever underestimate the power of a smart and confident woman :)

Quite a change from his predecessor, “the worm.”
To: catpuppy

A PowerPoint Presentation with music later.
The first part is for the ladies who want to have that special date with Cardy.
The second part is for the guys who luck out and want to kill themselves. ;)

Years ago I read several books about the Cathars, the Albigensian Crusades and Carcassonne. Frankly Pup, I had never heard of the place but that is not unusual there are thousands of wonderful castles and villages that I have never heard of, or even seen my own town from the air until I got a great link of of our Marina today.
Often one has never heard of a place and the suddenly you hear about it everywhere. I had never heard of Obidos in Portugal until my daughter went there, or saw the castle in Sintra although I spent time around that area.
It is amazing, we wake up each day and learn something new about our world and the history of unusual places.

As an EF-2 tornado swept across downtown Atlanta, one local photographer snapped the shot of a lifetime.
Shane Durrance was on top of his condominium off Howell Mill Road when he saw the potential for a great photo of the downtown area. He took the photo just as 11Alive's Paul Ossmann (meteorologist) was talking about tornado warnings in Atlanta.
Durrance, who is an acquaintance of Ossmann's, sent the photo to 11Alive and said he believed he'd missed catching the tornado on film. But after Ossmann reviewed the picture, he assured Durrance that he had indeed gotten the shot.
The picture shows a light-gray vertical strip of what looks like clouds connecting the cityscape to the larger clouds above. That is the actual tornado. Ossmann said it didn't look like the usual sort of funnel cloud because it was embedded in rainshowers at the time of the photograph.

Jane told me their first meal in France was less expensive than their last meal in Spain and absolutely delicious.
With you post about the food there I suspect they ate in the area of Carcassonne too.

That really is a shame Nully - and such short notice too.
I hope you can find a new job soon.
To: null and void
Nully, what does this mean? I am so sorry. I think a lot of companies will be shutting down temporarily, and re-opening after this economic crunch is over. Is there anything anybody can do? Best to you, Nully! I mean that in all sincerity.

and such short notice too.Not really, we've been discussing it for a couple months. It's hard to run a company without funding!
