The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Hyundai’s warranty is 5 years / 60,000 miles for the bumper-to-bumper (including roadside assistance, which is nice), and 10 years / 100,000 miles for powertrain.

I thinking it’s at least worth asking ‘em to run the numbers. The new Elantras are a *little* bigger than the old ones, too, without really being a big car. And I could choose colors and that.

I may go by this afternoon and just look again. Can’t hurt.

Glad you’ve got the antibiotic! Hope you feel better soon...and that they’re able to figure out what’s up with SirKit...

One really nice thing about the Elentra is that front and side curtain airbags are standard, as is (are?) ABS.

One thing that impressed us when we were looking for a new vehicle was the safety features standard on the different Hyundai models that were optional ($) on Toyota and Honda models.

Time change + 2 hours of overtime to make up for it = UNGH.

Time change + 1 o’clock meeting moved to 4:30 (so we’ll be here late) also = UNGH. As does the fact that I gotta be here by seven thirty tomorrow.

I’m going to be struggling to stay awake in this meeting...

Thanks. I still feel like carp warmed over. I took a nap, but then got achy and came downstairs to take some Tylenol. I’m hoping the amoxil will start doing it’s thing soon, because my ears are starting to hurt from the sinus pressure.

We don’t have one in the building or nearby.

Sides, I’ve already had so much caffeine today I’m kind of vibrating. I’m just vibrating and nodding off at the same time.

Ugh.

I have to limit my caffeine intake or I get the worst headaches.

Didn’t she do a short shift at a hospital on Sat., doing a private duty gig?

Hope you start feeling better, SuziQ! Get those antibotics in you, rest and drink plenty of fluids. Sinus infections are the worst!

Ugh.

Wait till you get home and find out there's no water.

I'm sure that will improve your mood :~)

Wikis are cool... we use them at work to keep track of testing projects. Each test effort gets its own wiki page.

They really are cool!

I am thrilled because I found a great app set with Apache, MySql, PHP, the Wiki tool and a couple others all in one (Web-Developer Server) and free. It’s just easy.
