Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Oh dear...that is one hideous cat! And I don't think the fur has just been clipped. There'd usually be some fur on the head, where nobody would dare run clippers. That's just one hideous naked cat.

Ok, here’s the situation as it stands. I take three BP meds...Lopressor, Diovan and a Catapres patch.
You know my doctor doubled my dose of Diovan a couple of weeks ago. She also put me on the Catapres patch. After that, my BP went down. But I only had a month’s worth of Diovan so when I doubled it, I ran out quickly.
I think I mentioned that I called last week to get it re-filled. The office assistant told me to have my pharmacy contact them and they would refill it at the doubled strength.
So that is what I did. My pharmacy has now requested the prescription filled like six times. I called the office yesterday and the office assistant acting all defensive. Said they’d call it in.
At 8:45pm, before the pharmacy closed, they still had not re-ordered my medication.
Yesterday, I was down to just one pill (I take two every morning) so I took that one pill. Now I’m out. I have decided to just not worry about it any more. I suspect that the reason my bp went down was because of the catapres patch...so I’m going to continue the patch and Lopressor and monitor my BP carefully and if it starts going back up then I’ll take stronger action...
I don’t mind this patch but I hate taking these pills.
BP so far this morning is 128/84.
