Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

RE: LOST...didn’t see that one coming.
We had the repeat episode tonight, just not the enhanced version.
Zat good or bad?
yes
fours
Ack! It’s that time already, isn’t it? On my way in a minute...
Hurry up!
I just saw a video about a guy who got fired from his job because he posted a Dilbert cartoon. Turns out, the one that winmag posted the other night, and the follow-up, were both written BECAUSE Scott Adams had read about the guy getting fired, and did the new strips about the incident. What a hoot!
It's getting more and more recursive. Some other poor schmoe will be fired for posting this set of cartoons.
I’ve already checked with TheNewBoss about Dilbert cartoons and the banning of such over at TheOldJob. He finds the situation hilarious and happens to have Dilbert cartoons posted on his office door. I suspect he may even send a few over to TheOldBoss... he doesn’t like her very much either. ;)
We were out with the fam last night and had to TiVo LOST. Hopefully tonite we can watch it.
I gather it was good?
To be honest, I thought ~most~ of it rather slow until the last few minutes. Just watch closely.
And that’s all I have to say about that.
It’s Friday! Yay!
I just posted this on another thread...
I actually got a fundraising call from the RNC last night. Gave the young lady an earful. I told her that until Republicans started acting like Republicans again that they’d get nothing else from me.
She tried to tell me “but we’re trying to change that perception.”
I said “SHOW me the change. Then call me back.”
He really is the kindest child. Sure, he is tough as nails and climbs the walls and occasionally accidently impales himself with something now and then...but he is the kindest most thoughtful loving child I have ever known. It’s his personality.

We were up most of the night with Homer whining and pacing. Can’t tell what his problem is. He’s not right in the head!
