Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Heh...Sam’s a good sport.
How’s Abbycat doin’ these days?
It is absolutely clear as a bell, and cold as a well digger’s butt, outside! We went out to see it just after 10, and it was in totality; creepy looking. It’s coming out slowly right now, though we’re looking at it from inside now, where we’re nice and warm. ;o)
Poor Sam. Was he mortified having to wear that balloon? Abby sure is a pretty cat.
Abby’s doin’ well. Moving slowly, but enough to be back up on her favorite spot on the couch.
The sky opened up here about 20 minutes ago, so we saw it, mostly after the total part.
Heh...
Sam’s not smart enough to be mortified. And Abby’s much prettier on the front end these days.

Don't let Wii corrupt your kitteh.
ooo...that’s good...
Heh, we just showed this to Joseph. He was not amused. ;o)
My house, any day of the week...
Is that anywhere near Minas Tirith?
Dang...I can’t believe none of us caught that. We’re slipping...
Ha! We ARE slipping!
We decided it was too cold to go look. It was -10 last night. Not much warmer now. And it’s trash day and Talon and I are carpooling so we really should have gotten up earlier.
I has a balloon indeed :~)
Good morning. We went to bed early last night. Was tired. Tonight we have LOST, hopefully we’re more rested!
We went out to look at the eclipse for awhile... the first time we went out, we couldn’t find the moon, it was behind the trees. It was a Douglass Fir Eclipse. But later it was visible and we got to see it.
mmmmmmm...LOST
Okay. If all these schools are closing for the day, what are all these school buses doing on the road?
School buses? I don’t know why they are out; must be something to do with burning up the gas so their budget doesn’t get reduced next year.
They’re all driving around empty....must be some OP thing.
