Quick, fill up pots before you finish brushing your teeth.
Yay! My neighbor is getting her roof repaired! She’s had a hole in her roof since a limb fell through it during the ice storm.
No more blue tarp on her roof! I’m happy for her!
I got jonquils in bloom in thebackyard. I took a picture with my phone (since I can’t upload to the PC), but it won’t upload to my comcast account.
My turnips, lettuce and radishes are doing well in my enclosed garden bed. (Remember the one I lined almost three feet down with hardware cloth to keep the gophers out?)
I’m pretty pleased...I’m also somewhat surprised because it iced over while I was in the hospital and I didn’t get a chance to cover them with the cloth row cover stuff.
I’m trying to remember what bulbs survived the dog...I didn’t plant any this past fall, so it’s all kinda foggy in my mind.
I *think* I have crocuses and hyacinths, and those came up just before the daffodils.
I added tulips out front and a mixture of bulbs the Mrs. bought from Luke’s school fundraiser. I still need to get out and clear the backyard of leaves.
This year is a “restoring” year for the yard. I need to clean out the dry stream bed and clear lots of stuff out before I plant anything else.
It’s 6 degrees and we’ve got like 15 inches of snow on the ground right now. What is “bloom”, precious?
If I’m still where I am by next year, I want to do tulips. Lots and lots of ‘em. It’s worth a try...
I’d have to put down chicken wire over them or something, though. Otherwise Cisco digs them up and scatters them everywhere.
It’s only 74 here...
He tends to do that. ;o) He was just outstanding as Col. Brandon, though; so in love, so tortured.
Have you ever seen the movie Truly, Madly Deeply? It's more contemporary, and he was extremely good in it.
Speaking of Shoot Em Up, we saw that movie a couple of weeks ago. Talk about OVER THE TOP, but it was fun to watch!
That would be better for everyone, all around. ;o)
SHUT UUUP!
Actually, it's quite balmy out there today. SirKit and Joseph are going to actually put up the new storm door today. He needed some shims primed before he could finish, so I did that late yesterday, but it started raining before they could get the door up.
That is an order of magnitude warmer than here. Bah.
The new niece showed up yesterday morning 6:12 am, 8lbs 14oz, 21.5 in long.
For the rest of yall this is my older brother’s 5th.
We are such total slackers.
Speak for yourself ;-D
Get a room.
