Oh, the Tibetan bar shoot out - I had completely forgot about that shoot-out. Nice catch, Win-Mag.
The P-38 - a slightly different time does help in that regard.
Vintage weaponry is always enjoyable; it’s refreshing to know that gun fights didn’t always feature either a Colt .45 Peacemaker or a Glock.
Hmm, Talon has all three of those items... his leather coat is a drover’s coat though but he does look nice in fedoras.
I tend to notice weapons that continue to fire with the slide locked back, or actors fumbling with their weapons. Any my all-time favorite, cars with disappearing/reappearing dents from the chase scenes. The yellow Porsche in "Commando" is a classic.

Back from our walk, going to bigorange box store in a bit. Some replacement blinds are on the agenda.
I’ve got a ballgame and a race going on at the same time. Hate when that happens! Other than that, I’ve got some paint touch ups and some general cleaning to do.
Yeah, it was put off from December 08 ‘til May 09.
Sunny, but cool-ish here (40s I think). I kept lookin' at theyard and thinking I had stuff to do inside, but I needed to work on theyard.
Then I remembered, "Hey, I've got an 18-year-old who ain't workin' today."
Problem solved.

I got leverage. Girlfriend is home from Tech for the weekend. He doesn't have the money to take her out for a post-Valentine's Dinner.
Theyard stands between him and romance.

He didn’t get paid fer watchin’ Luke all week whilst the Mrs. was out of town...
well... I s’pose that watchin’ Luke qualifies as goin’ “above and beyond”...
Luke spent the rest of the evening last night in his room because he forgot his gloves on the bus and ran out in front of the bus to go get them. Jr. yelled at him to stop and Luke got mad and hit him in the giblets.
That said...what can I make with semisweet chocolate, coconut, walnuts, pumpkin and pineapple...
Or some combination thereof?
