The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

In the repeat from last week, it was on the TV screen when the pilot was making the call. The pop-up on the enhanced version said "to find out more about Flight 815, call the number on the TV screen. I tried, but got it wrong... dang contacts...
To: RosieCotton; HairOfTheDog
If you watch at 8 for the enhanced version, be ready to write a number down.
We needs it.

Ahh, I see... we haven't been watching the repeat, we've been watching "Survivor".
In the new episode, did you notice... that the German chick that Sayid killed had the same kind of metal bracelet as Naomi had?

That one made the rounds at work today because, coincidentally enough, we're working on a virtualization project. ;-)
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Yeah, I was thinking
it was the same one...
Also on the replay I noticed that on the archaeologist's dig, the artifact she brought up had the Dharma logo. I missed that last week. Dang contacts.

Oh, yeah... the logo was of
The Hydra. (spoiler font doesn't work on links, so if you don't want to be spoiled for last week's episode, don't click the link!)

Go to losteastereggs.blogspot.com or... nevermind, ecurbh looked it up... it’s 888-548-0034. We called it last week :~)

Heh. Looks like a workable plan. Better than some I’ve seen.
We don’t do much virtualization beyond some small web servers. Our big thing now for little boutique servers is blades.
Blades rock. :-)
We filled up two blade chassis now, and need a third.

Heads up! There is a show on the Science Channel right now called “The Mystery of the Human Hobbit”. It’s about what the scientists think might be a new species of miniature humans that they found on an Indonesian Island, about 500 miles east of Java. They were in a cave deep in a jungle.
