I think that was Heparin they were talking about. The drug in the multi-dose bottle seems to be the problem. I got shots of Heparin when I was in the hospital, in my abdomen, on alternating sides, but it looked like they took it from little, single dose bottles. The only side-effect I had was bruising on both sides, and one, on my right side ended up in the shape of a football, especially with my stretch marks going through it, looking like lacings. The nurses in the Heart Cath lab joked that they ought to write “Go Pats” under it. ;o)

I'll bet it WAS tasty! A couple of churches here in town have programs like that. Clare's Girl Scout troop did meals for the families at the Congregational Church a few times. They enjoyed doing it.
Coumadin is a brand name for Warfarin.
Got a source, by any chance?
Heparin sounds more likely — weren’t they recalling the injectable to make the labels better? I think I’d have heard a LOT of talk if it was Warfarin.
