Ungh...
And I still have a headache.
I don't have a Neti Pot, but just use a 16oz plastic water bottle with a squirter top on it. I mix my salt solution up by the quart, then heat it and pour as much as I think I'll use into the squirt bottle and get into a hot shower with it. There's much less mess that way and you dont' have to worry about breaking anything. My ENT recommended 3 tsp of pickling salt or Kosher salt and 1 tsp of baking soda per quart of water. I think the baking soda is to reduce the Ph of the water so it doesn't burn as much. But like you say, it works wonders when you've got a stopped up nose. And I don't know this for a fact or anything, but I'll bet it kills germs too, or at least washes them out of there. It wouldn't be a bad thing to do if you'd been exposed to someone with a cold.

We had that yesterday. We'd had four inches of snow Tuesday night, and then it started sleeting. Ick. We didn't have to go out yesterday, so that was good, but we're fixing to head out for my Cardiologist appt., then out to lunch. And I'm wearing a shirt with red in it, for Valentine's Day, all the better if the Saudi's don't like it! ;o)

Bah, at least three different people brought in Valentine’s Day cookies. It’ll take hours for all of them to be gone. I hate temptation.
But I have lost weight this week for the first time in months so no cheating :)
Some are saying Sun and Jin. Which would be one too many...so I dunno.
