Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

In two weeks when I’m past the initial phases of the diet I’m going to look into making, say, some low carb bran muffins for breakfast. Right now it’s super low carb for me. And I’m cooking! Yay!
I’ve been on the phone with Verizon for more than 30 minutes...this does not bode well...
I'd rather not. I wouldn't be leaving any treadmarks, because my fanny would be sitting down on it! Snow, I don't mind, because you can get some traction, but ice, I hates.
Considering how all ammo prices are increasing, not that bad. A little careful shopping gets a box of 50 for about $18 for some of loads.
The only cheap ammo out there is "cheap" stuff of questionable quality from Russia and China. 5.7x21mm is not among their products, thankfully.
Currently, FNH and Fiocchi are the only manufacturers of that caliber. As it becomes more accepted, some American companies might jump in. And there's always reloading, so save that brass.
The 29gr "lead-free" (aluminum core) is especially kind to drywall, and is safer to use than buckshot. However, at 3000+ fps, it has certain "enhanced properties" that almost resulted in the BATFE disallowing import.
The PS90 and FiveseveN are high on gun-grabbers sh!t lists, and may not survive the next administration, regardless of which party wins.
Yeah, our current list is pretty much oriented around ‘useful’ and ‘likey to get (re)banned’. So the 90 is certainly in the running.
Me, too.
For Fred Thompson and his aligned delegates. Dammit.
Thanks - (just getting around to catching up...) It's crocheted. I got the stitch from a big stitch dictionary. I wore it to work today and it was fun. It's a dreary day today and it occurred to me that it is bright enough orange for me to use it to direct construction traffic.
Ok. I'm jealous.
stay safe
Sigh... remembering entmoot...
Stay safe, darkangel.
I will. If I disappear from FR suddenly, you’ll know why.
I left too soon...
I firmly believe if I could I would freep whilest being swept away...heh heh. Don’t think my dialup phoneline would reach far, though.
Thank you for your help with that bit of business...I took care of some other stuff and have sat here too long now. BP starting to go up. (Only 134/94....which is a whole lot better than it’s been doing but still...I need to shut this down.)
I got my nursing license renewed, though...needed to do that for a while now.
And emailed my boss. She wrote me back and told me to get well and come back soon, so that was good to hear.
See ya!
Have a good afternoon. :~)
A big plus in the PS90 column is that it is just so much fun to shoot, regardless of costs. It's also extremely accurate and dependable.
If you live in a state that's Class III friendly (Michigan is not, except for the politically connected), consider SBRing it. It would be a worthwhile investment in the higher cost.
I'll tell you that, too. Lots of hugs, chica, and get well soon!
Oh good heavens. Keep your powder dry - and be safe..
Precious.
