It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...
--Ow! Tomatoes hurt you know. Sheesh...
During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.
Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)
I think a lot of LSU fans were hoping that they would get Tennessee in the SEC Title game instead of UGA for good reason.
And as I type UGA intercepts another Hawaii pass.
I think we can put this one in the SEC column
Current Conference Standings :
Sun Belt 1-0 MWC 4-1 SEC 6-2 Pac 10 4-2 Big 12 4-2 Big 10 3-4 Big East 1-2 WAC 1-3 ACC 2-5 CUSA 1-4 MAC 0-1 Indies 0-1
That's one of the dumbest questions I've ever seen asked on FR.......and I've seen some real doozies!
Well, the women are probably a little faster for one thing...;)
What was it you were saying about speed and the SEC? I gotta give credit to Georgia. Their defense played a great game. Plus, they subbed endlessly. Way to go Bulldawgs!
Now it’s time for NCAA gymnastics season . . .
"That's one of the dumbest questions I've ever seen asked on FR.......and I've seen some real doozies!"
Let's see, the restaurants around Pasadena are better...uh no.
The music around Pasadena is better...uh no.
The hotels are better around Pasadena...unh unh.
The natives are more friendly...no chance
The stadium is better for the fans...the flower bowl is a relic comparatively.
Yes it is a dumb question, anybody should know that a short visit to New Orleans is infinitely better than a visit to Los Angeles County.
My son and his wife went to Florida for the Gator Bowl ..I had the game on mute after awhile..such a disaster and suddenly noticed another miracle might happen! I have one happy family right now!..All Texas Tech grads, including 2 grandsons..and one grandson still at Tech..These come from behinders are not good for my blood pressure!
In the SEC, we learn how to use a spell checker.
SEC went 2-2 today, and split with the Big 10.
Or resorting to trick plays, when up by three touchdowns.
If the choice is LA or New Orleans and I can have 60,000 barking Dawg fans if I go to the Sugar Bowl. Sorry dude-—I’m picking Naw Oralins. Like Ya know?
Over all——6-2-—now its LSUs turn.
I use the spelling system of FR. :)
Georgia is an example of why we need a better system then the BCS. From what I had seen with ESPN and the postings, Georgia woke up or stayed awake and decided to beat the unbeaten Hawaii team. Learned well about the need to have a good running game (Georgia) in order to beat the fast Hawaii team. Congrats Georgia.
FR has an excellent spell check setup. That is what I use. :)
Well Georgia learned while preparing during the couple of weeks leading up to the Sugar Bowl about the need for excellent running so that it could beat Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl. It has learned well. The rest of the SEC, take notes because it is speed not size that win games. Congrats to Georgia for winning the Sugar Bowl.
“Now its time for NCAA gymnastics season . . .”
Welcome to the winter college basketball season, my favorite college sports season.
Yesterday was a fun day for college football. I have enjoyed it. Had seen a mismatch ( Rose Bowl ), Florida going down in defeat to the rival of OSU, Michigan, an angry Mizzou big cat cougars taking it out on the Razorbacks, the suprise of the day, Texas Tech winning over the slow grinding down tatics of Virgina, and Georgia ending having enough speed to beat the fast running Warriors team from Hawaii.
Overall it was a fun day at the bowl games. (Sarc)...........:)
Congratulations on the Red Raider win yesterday.
Congrats on TT’s win. :)
After seeing recaps of other games, I would have loved to have seen a match up where Georgia played Missouri. That would have been an amazing game.
I bet the crowd did go wild. I wanted to watch some of the replays last night, but wasn’t feeling real good. I think the cedar pollen is hitting me already, even tough I got the steroid shots two weeks ago.
I didn’t get to watch much of any bowl game this year. Too many things on my “honey do” list, even though I’ve been on vacation for two weeks and still have one week left.
