One location only, I'm afraid . . . I'm on cast at the Texas Renaissance Festival, where I play Juana la Loca, the insane queen of Spain.
One weekend this past season, my Conquistadors made me a lovely salad of pine needles and other assorted ground goodies and offered it to me.
The photographer was standing right there. What was I supposed to do?
That's right.
So I did.
(What might have been in those pine needles does NOT bear thinking about. But comedy's not pretty.)

Too funny. Like you said tho, people will eat anything given to them by someone in costume, including those who are also wearing a costume themselves.
A friend of mine was in the cast at Bristol, WI, met a guy also working there, married him & moved to the other side of the border (Illinois). I haven't heard from her for years & they may be still working the Faire. Last I heard, she'd worked her way up to Royal governess.
Anyway, she used to do some "meets" off season, which is what I was talking about when I asked you if you ever took your show on the road. Do y'all even have an off season?

I considered auditioning for the AZ Ren. Fest, but thought it would be rude to tell them I had to miss one weekend for the cool SCA event down the street.

Oh, gosh, I haven’t been in years and years, so I’ve missed your act!
