The YouTube poster says this occurred during a December 6th flight from Toronto to London, England. Repeated calls by Breitbart.tv to Air Canada for additional information have not been returned.

Flight attendants should have tranquilizer darts readily available to them. There’s no reason for a whole planeload of people should have to put up with this. Not to mention that the guy seemed crazy enough that he could have seriously injured himself. A wild yank on those plastic wrist restraints could have produced a nasty gushing gash and/or badly broken wrists.
As a frequent flyer between the US and the UK, Im always thinking about the possibility of a disturbance that might cause the death of the aircraft Im on and my subsequent demise. I would, without hesitation, put a knuckle sandwich in the face of anyone that I thought as a threat to me or the aircraft Im in.
I fly the 15-16 hour flights from DFW/Newark to Asia.
I would have no problem doing the “knuckle sandwich”, cuff him, duct tape him to a seat and gag him. Then try and get some sleep. I sleep for about an hour on the flights. It’s brutal especially if the plane doesn’t have”on demand” programing and instead has the “looped video” programing.
Amen! LOL!
“Considering the potential outcome, bet its not to hard to get volunteers.”
On a recent flight someone started screaming ‘help!’ “Help me” in a panic like voice. Some other guy was getting out of his seat real quick. I was sleeping about ten isles away and heard it, woke my ass up and was out of my seat ready in a sec. I was actually half way down the isle checking it out and then some gay (meaning happy of course in this context) flight attendent was there with a barf bag. The poor guy sitting next to the guy puking was covered in puke and asking for help. The next isle up had a lady that started puking in the seat across the isle (she had a bag ready). I turned around and went back to to my seat real quick.
They cleaned it up after a while, but.
I have to say the flight staff dealing with it were excellent, we even had the standard “If there is a doctor or nurse in the house...” announcement. I didn’t see any voluteers but the parametics met us 3 hours later.
BTW the guys in the vid holding that nut in his seat are amazing. BRAVO to them.
