[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

My back is acting up today, too, and I didn’t do anything that I know of. Difference is I have PT tomorrow.

Our backs are aching do the the high humidity we have had lately, I took a Soma and crashed for a bit, knocked me right out.

The cookie batter is really thick the last one looked like pure Peanut Butter.

Terrible thing these days when you have to lock and load at church. Good grief.

Bar cookies are very simple to make, just stir and bake, no rolling or dipping out by the spoonful.

I made Date & Nut Bar Cookies, and a Coconut Bar cookie. I should freeze most of them so I cannot get my hands on them so quickly.

Hello there tongue-tied. Hope that this note finds you well. You can wish all of the snow that you would like to fall on Silicon Valley. For some reason they do not get snow here. I grew up with snow so it doesn’t bother me.
