LAKE MARY, Fla. -- A Seminole County middle school teacher was arrested Friday after deputies said they discovered her inside a vehicle shortly after she had sex with a 14-year-old boy.
Jennifer Tarkenton, 34, of Lake Mary, was arrested on three counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a child 12 or older by a person over the age of 18.
Tarkenton is a teacher at Greenwood Lakes Middle School in Lake Mary, according to Seminole County sheriff's investigators. Deputies said they believe that the boy is a student at the school.
According to a Seminole County sheriff's report, deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle at about 10 p.m. Thursday in the area of 800 Banana Lake Road in Lake Mary. Deputies said a woman, later identified as Tarkenton, and a 14-year-old boy were inside the vehicle.
The boy told deputies that he and Tarkenton had sex inside the vehicle after she picked him up at his house, drove to a nearby pharmacy and purchased condoms.
"The bottom line is we have an adult in the position of trust. We have an adult in a position of authority. (This) should never happen," Seminole County sheriff's Lt. Dennis Lemma said.
Seminole County school district officials told Local 6 News that they will send letters to parents of students at Greenwood Lakes Middle School regarding the incident.
Tarkenton was transported to the John E. Polk Correctional Facility, where she later posted a $10,000 bond.

I’m not condoning the teacher’s behavior, but the reality is that the kid was likely bragging to his friends about it the next day, is probably still fantasizing about it now, and is probably pissed that it’s not going to happen any more. The simple reality is that it’s a dream-come-true for most normal 14 year old males. Women probably have no way of understanding that. That’s not a slam on women, just an acknowledgement that women are wired differently than men.
Something seems creepier about an adult female.... this one does sort of resemble Patty Hearst.
How does that work? Is the mother dangling the affection from the friend to keep her son on her side?

I am reminded of ferry that over turned and sank in the North Sea. One husband and father used his body to bridge a gap so that his wife and children could crawl to safety. They survived. He didn’t.
I was once a feminist. Then I had a series of very debilitating and very painful illnesses. My husband came home from work ( after working 10 or more hours), made the meals, took care of me, gave our 3 kids baths, read bed time stories, did the laundry, and food shopping.,,,etc.
He never once complained. I learned a very valuable lesson from those sad illnesses. My husband literally devoted and spent his entire life on me and the kids. I learned that a marriage is a 200%/200% deal.
I can’t believe that I had been soooooo incredibly selfish and egotistical, and sooooo misled by the feminists.
Good men go to work every day all over the world doing boring, dirty, cold ( hot), wet (dry), and dangerous work. They work night shifts and swing shifts, and many have more than one job. Why? They do it because the love their wives and their children. The feminists just overlook this.

If I had the time,
I’d go back and pull many many many posts where women caught hell for literally posting the same comments or the same threads like guys.
Heck, we had a hunky fireman thread where half the posters were guys insulting our pictures and calling the guys gay. You don’t see that on the T&A threads. And I’ll promise you, that if I started a ‘Beefcake Thread’ like some “Babes” thread here, the response would be the same. Lots of flack, with an equal amount of THANK YOUS from the women.
The OFST were fun, but they got so heavy with T&A pictures that the girls starting posting beefcake pictures, in the same degree of skimpy swimsuits and yes, we caught HELL for soft porn pictures. To the point there was a semi-flame war and an agreement on both sides not to post ‘nekky’ pictures.
The ‘He’s Gay’ stuff is so redundant it’s almost cut and paste.
Most recently there was a very popular female freeper who was banned for posting ‘smut’ when the next day, the same threads she posted were being posted. And continue to be posted to this day.
Granted, that’s the choice of TPTB, but the double standard has been noticed and commented on, repeatedly. FR is called a misogynistic site by some conservatives on other sites. I’m on the fence, but I do lean towards an ah “yeah, kinda”
Guys can do things and say things and have attitudes here that women will be treated differently for....
Heck, there’s even an exposed nipple that got a lot of ‘hoo boys’ less than a week ago and it’s still there, when a thread about the females using vibrators got yanked... my guess is because most of the posters were females commenting honestly.
And yes, I remember the very first time I saw a woman post a cute guy pick in jeans with a small rip in the seat. The “GAY PORN!” posts were deafening, and one man actually stated he was shocked that a conservative female would post such trash.

The worst butt chewing I got recently was on a chicklit site when I said I refused to call myself a feminist. So the irony isn’t lost again.
I’m just human, and I’ve known good men and bad men in my life. Sadly, the bad ones did the most damage and left me far more wary than I should be....I’ve always been the caregiver, the lifesaver, the defender. Such has been my role. T’would be strange if things were different, and honestly, the good men I make a point of seeking out because they are the only way I’ll find balance.
