Where Ron Paul is concerned, that poster has proven over and over again to be utterly lacking in personal integrity.

"What do you personally call someone like Giuliani?" A liberal who gets it on the War on Terror, much like Ed Koch, Ron Silver and other libs.

Next?

"You seem to think that foreign policy is a litmus test for conservatism."

I don't accept your premise.

Being wrong on the War on Terror is a litmus test for sanity, not ideology.

They quit putting his name in the polls after they consistantly recorded negative numbers.

Then what the hell is a neocon? We still haven't figured that out.

This post displays your utter lack of integrity. As just one example, your asinine assertion that Ron Paul supported the NAU by funding the Trans Texas Corridor is nothing short of disgraceful.

The proposed Trans Texas Corridor or "NAFTA Super Highway" is to be composed of existing highways as well as-yet-to-be constructed roads. What you have pointed to appears to be nothing more than routine road work on existing highways which (I assume) are envisioned by globalists to comprise the NAFTA superhighway. This is ludicrous.

Why don't you post Ron Paul's October 30, 2006 article from his congressional website entitled "The NAFTA Superhighway"? (I would link to it, but I, sadly, do not know how to do links.) But you obviously do. And you cannot convince anyone that you did not know of this and many other articles and other ways in which Paul has opposed the NAU, the Trans Texas Corridor, the UN, and a plethora of things which you disgracefully accuse him of supporting.

You are a fraudulent poster whose word should not be accepted by Freepers. That you have to resort to such transparent smear jobs is proof positive that you have no significant substantive complaints about Ron Paul. You just hate him because he stands for liberty and you are an elitist statist.

How is 13Million dollars for development stuides of the I69 project 'routine work on existing highways'?

The I69 project is the new TTC project, not 'routine work on existing highways' as you claim.

I-69 OVERVIEW Designated by Congress as a high priority corridor, Interstate 69, when completed, will be the most direct interstate linking the industrial centers of Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The 1,600-mile corridor traverses nine states, however it will serve the entire nation. In 2001, eighty percent of US trade with Mexico and 67% of the U.S. trade with Canada, the nation’s two major trading partners, went by truck. The I-69 Corridor accounts for over 63% of the nation’s truck borne trade with Canada and Mexico. It has the nation’s busiest border crossings on both the Canadian and Mexican borders. The Texas border between Laredo and the Lower Rio Grande Valley accounts for over 49% of the nation’s truck borne trade with Mexico. Approximately half of the total freight shipped in the United States in 1997- over five billion tons- originated or terminated in the I-69 Corridor states. Seventeen of the Nation’s top 25 seaports, 13 inland waterway ports and 15 of the nation’s top 25 air cargo airports are directly served by I-69. Every major eastern rail carrier and both Canadian carriers have terminal operations on the I-69 Corridor.

You can make all the personal attacks you want, but this is something that is not coming out of thin air, it has already been hit by the Houston Chronicle, World Net Daily and the group Corridor Watch. Even on RonPaulForums, some of the advice they were giving people on this issue was to avoid the subject all together because this one could backfire. I know Chris Peden may be looking into this and Paul's opposition to NASA funding as a couple of major issues to run on.

To be fair to Paul, I did see some spin that may work for you.. it was that Paul was funding this 13Million dollar study to kill the corridor, not to build it...

Now go dig for more talking points..

Re #108-
I guess I should include the link to the funding so anyone coming here can decide for themselves. (second item in this)

..after all, people should be presented with the evidence and let them make up their own mind.

What is funny is you continue to call my posts ‘fraudulent’ when they are lists of actual votes by Paul. It seems people can click the links and make up their own minds. The bill numbers are on the links, the voting records are on the links, and the details are on the links. Just like the accusation that funding the TTC is an asinine assertion when I posted a link with his request spelled out in English right on it.

Your come back, name calling and posting speeches.

Heck, I’ll go ahead and post the speech you referred to, here is the link.
http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul349.html

People can now read the speech and they can look at the funding records I presented and they can make up their mind which is the real Paul.

What you posted does not support what you state. Whether this particular road project is advisable or not is debatable (I don’t know the particulars enough to take a position one way or another), is by no means an endorsement of the NAFTA superhighway or the NAU.

If you don’t know the particulars, you sure aren’t in a position to be calling something fradulent now are you?

ABOUT I-69/TTC
Interstate 69 is a planned 1,600-mile national highway connecting Mexico, the United States and Canada. Eight states are involved in the project. In Texas, I-69 will be developed under the Trans-Texas Corridor master plan.

I also pinged AuntB, she is a big follower of the TTC and I believe she was the person who first directed me to the Houston Chronicle article exposing the backdoor funding.

I would assume that since Ron Paul is a third tier candidate, the pollsters consider him irrelevant as do many thinking Americans.

Americans across the country who donated $4.2 million to him on Monday refutes your allegation.

That is the article I was referring to on Paul's website (you chose to post to Lou Rockwell's website on which had reposted it). Everyone should read the article and see how dishonest you have been.

I don't know a lot about I-69, but it is not the "ten lane colossus" that is the NAFTA superhighway. To say that Paul supports the TransTexas Corridor and the NAU because he supported what appears from what you have posted to be a non-controversial road project is dishonest.

So what’s Ron Paul doing to stop terrorists?

Restore citizen's 2nd Amendment rights, particularly on passenger flights, so we can blast them to Kingdom Come.

Their god, Der Paul, really is this unpopular with the average voter.

He leads all Republican candidates in fundraising and grassroots support.

Spambots from a cheesy 50s sci-fi movie, right?

The clinically insane SHOULD be excluded from polls and elections alike.

Conservatives have finally adopted the tactics of the totalitarian Left. Words fail me.
