I prefer sand to snow...One is hot, one is cold. What's to like about either?
Snow melts. Sand doesnt.
Ah. But you don't have to shovel rain!

Yuppers.
Not a whole lot, but enough to be mizerish.

Ricochet bowling in the lower levels took on an interesting meaning when coupled with zombies and dust bunnies.

The tiny ones are not all that bad, just a nuisance.
It’s when they get huge that things get bad, and ugly.

We got a whole inch of it last week but it had to rain over 20 hours to give us that.
We need it, too. It’s hard to think of the desert having a drought, but we do.
Mostly because newcomers don’t know how to adjust their living to the desert climate. They all want green lawns and trees and swimming pools, and like to wash their cars every day or so.

I hate to be a part-pooper, but I have to go to bed. Too early, of course, but I need it.
Y’all take care!

Im assembling things that I can pack ahead of time I do that. My ditty bag (toiletries kit) is packed & ready to go at all times, unless meds are needed for the trip -- like . Several other items are also ready to go. My big issue these days is making sure the primary electronics bag has the AC adapters for where I'm headed (it holds essential accessories such as travel mouse, laptop power supply, USB drive, etc.).
The big issues are clothing (shirts mainly -- I now have my "travel wardrobe"), and making sure I have my travel papers, all the chargers, reading materials, etc. in my backpack.

I suspect the Sun is cycling through a cooling period.
Drat.
I may immigrate to NV as a refugee. I look on the bright side. It'll help hold the moss at bay. Nothing like a warm, wet Pacific Northwet winter to encourage the moss to grow everywhere.

Ick, snow. No. In Farsi "snow" is "barf."
It's "ice" that's "yagh" (yuck).

I have a suitcase, (soft sided) that has a suit holder in it. It does a better job of keeping my suits neat when I travel then the a suit carrier does and it cuts down on the luggage.

One of the problems I have is the suit shoulders are too broad for regular suit holders.

That could be a problem. Mine fit in nicely but then I am only 5' (and a bit).
Still I think yours might fit. The suitcase is regular size and so the area is larger then regular suit carriers.

Hm. I know it doesn’t even fit in my suiter. I think the years of bagpiping started the problem..

The one I have I found in TJ Maxx for about $80.00. I loaned it to my dad who is a big guy, size 13 shoes, very wide shoulders and his suits fit right in. Since he is a missionary he travels with at least three suits and they fit without crinkling.
