We got a whole inch of it last week but it had to rain over 20 hours to give us that.
We need it, too. It’s hard to think of the desert having a drought, but we do.
Mostly because newcomers don’t know how to adjust their living to the desert climate. They all want green lawns and trees and swimming pools, and like to wash their cars every day or so.
I hate to be a part-pooper, but I have to go to bed. Too early, of course, but I need it.
