Latin Americans do most of the same Christmas songs we do in English ... only in Spanish. I’ll have to spend some time tomorrow (around my mother’s visit) fitting the Spanish words with the notes.
I could lose the wash, I guess. The new washer comes on Monday.

I hope you didn’t mix up some nice woolens with dark blue clothes.
That could be bad.
.
Fleece navy duds.

We don’t have any dark blue woolens. Ah, the old days, of washing, starching, and ironing my father’s Navy uniforms! (No, I don’t miss them :-), but I watched a lot of old Western TV shows while slaving over the ironing board!

Whites, blacks, and greens. The blacks were Navy blue. The greens went out in the 60’s (the most beautiful heavy wool twill) but were recycles during the cold snaps in the 80’s, for those who still had them in their closets.

I didn’t even get to read it to them, as they had to go back to their mother. I probably won’t see them again for several weeks, but I’ll take it with me, “just in case.”
Several people who read it thought it was pretty funny, though. The manager here thought it was hilarious!
You’ve been missed! How was your Christmas?

Good thing
I'm not in charge of the calendar. Havoc would ensue.
Bad enough that I'm expected to do something about the weather.
If I could just get that moron Al Gore to sit down and shut up ...

At least Reid has the excuse that he’s being paid to represent the idiots who returned him to office.
Al Gore seems to be going the Nehemiah Scudder route.

Sincew I’m all too familiar with HR and his smarmy lies, I have to lump them both into the Idiot Sack.
Neither of them have the brains God gave to little apples.

Hmm. An idiot sack wouldn’t have to be substantial, but it would have to be capacious.

True, since both of the “people” are just leaders of the pack.

Sorry that I cannot help here. The ACC has churches in India, just not in Bangalore. However, if your travels take you through Chennai, be sure to stop at St. Thomas’s which was built by the Portuguese in the 1500s on the site where local tradition maintains that the apostle was killed by an arrow.
