As far as Shröedinger himself, I heard that he disappeared one day in a bout of solipsistic self-doubt.
I've learned just in the last few minutes that his idea of you should know that he is quite well amongst Elvis, Puff the Magic Dragon, and Rick James. The quantum world is indeed a superfreaky realm.

"Maybe Jupiter?" Nobody goes to Jupiter anymore. It's too crowded.

Would THIS help with your traveling plans??

I finally got around to playing with flickr. Might also fiddle with Picasa, too, but I'll definitely be sticking to free services until I see what comes of the experimenting. MAYBE if the volume of sharing gets to be enough, I'll upgrade to the "Pro" account, which has more toys.

Great photos!
I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoyed Tucson so much ~~ we were close to two “boneyards,” the one in Marana and the one at D-M AFB.
They also have a display in a small memorial park on base, of four or five different kinds of fighter jets. We used to go there and just sit for a few minutes.

Morning, kiddies.
I sure hope y’all have your foul weather gear handy! Batten down the hatches!
Global warming ~~ pish-tosh. It’s coming down wet and white all across the country. I hope lots of it lands on Glob Al.

Ceres Central. Home of the Zero Gee amusement park and the largest shopping mall in the solar system. Schrödinger runs a corner drug store/bath house.
Jupiter is ok, but the lines to get on some of the rides can be kind of long. Their Coney Dogs are the BEST off-Earth corndogs you can find. I think it has something to do with the pressure cooking...
If you liked Pluto though, try Eris. I hear they've got an awe inspiring Winter Solstice celebration...

Nobody goes to Jupiter anymore. It's too crowded. You have to call it "Zeus" now, since Pat and the Hellenists have moved there.

And if anyone knows about winter, it would be you, DC!
It’s warming up here, sun’s out. Maybe I’ll be able to run outside after lunch.

It’s warm here, too! 46 at the moment, and as soon as I get up the gumption, I’m going to make a Wal-Mart run. I saw a green tree frog, carved eyeglass “holder” and decided it’s what I need for the desk, since I change glasses while I’m geeking.
For now, I’m warming up. (I have no idea why I woke up so early....)

Just heard this morning, the folks who own that house we want accepted our offer. We start doing inspections ASAP, this week if not next week after Christmas. Hopefully, we'll be able to close by our target date of 1-21-08.

Pat got two new Greek words today: the noun “house,” and the verb “to say.” Very exciting - he’s been practicing conjugations and declensions for several lessons, with no new words.

I looked ahead; tomorrow he gets “law.” The workbook introduces several new words at a time, and then gives practice at making them into sentences with all the previous words.
His birthday is on Saturday; he’s getting a new indoor trampoline. (Plus, we’ll be getting the snake, but that’s Tom’s early Christmas present.)
Ah, here’s a cat to attack my pants cuffs. What fun!

It has bunches of potential. We already have the kitten, I'll have to get the Guinness later... ;-)
