‘K! I’ll bring my chocolate-raspberry cocoa, too. It’s SO good!
Rush Limbaugh said today how much he likes to see pictures of snow at this time of year.......when it’s 80 degrees out, and not a cloud in the sky.
B@st@rd!
LOL.
YAH! I can relate to that! I have a lot of snow scenes in my screensaver file that I pull up in the summer and use for a desktop. Then I go out into the heat and bask in it....:o])
Me too.
Summer pictures in the winter, and winter pictures in the summer.
Rush also said that the reason that English people look so pasty is because they come from such a high latitude. “It’s at the same latitude as Toronto......you can’t even get a tan that far north!”
LOL.
You probably could get a tan, if it could get past the goose-bumps! LOL!
I think I’ll try to work on a tan this summer. When I was in Tucson, they had a small pool, and I would go lie in the sun, then cool off in the pool. There isn’t one here. *sigh* :o[
If I win the Super 7 this Friday, I’ll buy you a house with a pool.
Kewl! (I won’t hold my breath!)
LOL!
(You’re so sweet!)
*HUG*
This is a post about Soccer.
What? Did you say something?
Ronaldo:
Wha— ? What were we talking about?
Good sports!
Ahyez. GOOD sports!
LOL!
Upper 70’s here. I was going to run, but I’d already taken a shower, and we’ve got a water shortage.
I’ve got computer problems. It’s a drag!
51, here, breeze out of the north at 14. *shudder*
I’ve been transcribing Igor’s personal history, this morning. I probably should have started on it several months ago, but at the time, I planned to take it to Kinko’s and have three copies made.
It’s a little out of my budget at the moment, and since I have so much time on my hands, I decided to just transcribe it, and make one hard copy to give to my son, and keep the other on the hard drive so I can print it out for myself later on.
When I get finished, I need to work on mine. I have most of it done in longhand (before I had a computer, how did I DO stuff like that???) but it needs to be in print. So that will happen after I get Igor’s done.
I also have one from a paternal aunt that I need to finish. Her’s is scribbled in a day planner, and she even wrote in the margins. At least she dated the entries....
Except for doing dishes and taking out the garbage, that’s all I’ve done today. Wait...I folded my laundry and put it away! Good job! Three things done! WOO-HOO!
(I hope that doesn’t set me back...I really want to go to that PJ Party, Friday!)
Sweat isn’t a sin. You can bike and not shower again. I would except that it’s dark, 32, and the roads are iced.
Have you identified the computer problem? I hate when that happens.
You’re being so diligent!
Der Prinz fixed the computer again. He said a connection was disconnected because of the children’s using the CD-ROM drive and the speakers, or something. Anyway, I’m functional again. The laptop is a nuisance!
DP has taken the older boys to a Boy Scouts bowling outing, so I think I’ll watch a movie and do some sewing, once the little boys go to bed. Hot in here - we’ve got the windows open!
LOL!
I just keep putting stuff off, and decided I needed to do something constructive while I’m sitting here. I can FReep and transcribe at the same time, since I don’t have to lose my place with either one.
When I start making mistakes on one or the other, it’s time to shut down the Big One.
I copied all the chapter titles, page numbers and chapter numbers and when I was almost done for the day, I realized the page numbers are going to differ greatly ~~ he did it with a typewriter, Pica type, and I think it was 10 characters to the inch. So the thing is 350 pages long. I suspect I can do it in 300 pages or less.
(What did I ever do before computers? I keep asking myself that. I wonder how I ever got anything done!)
It’s good that Der Prinz is such a geek. I have to fumble through my own stuff, then call the cable company if I’m having a Blonde Day. A movie and some sewing sounds great! What are you going to watch?
I’m not sure what I’ll watch. I watched the last third of the “Pirates” movie this afternoon with the kids. Good action scenes, and not as disjointed as the first third. I don’t know what happens in the middle third, except some people die, because you don’t see them again.
Maybe I’ll start watching “Into Great Silence,” or maybe I’ll watch “The Lost Battalion” or a John Wayne movie. Right now the byos are having “Bob the Builder.”
The middle third was “different.” I don’t know what I expected, but it came as a shock to me to realize that the officer who lost the girl in the first movie was an outcast.
There were a lot more special effects, as well, but they were very cleverly done, and obviously done for kids. I enjoyed it.
Now I just have to wait until I can get the third one, and I’ll have a Pirates Marathon! (If I can stand it!)
LOL!
