The middle third was “different.” I don’t know what I expected, but it came as a shock to me to realize that the officer who lost the girl in the first movie was an outcast.

There were a lot more special effects, as well, but they were very cleverly done, and obviously done for kids. I enjoyed it.

Now I just have to wait until I can get the third one, and I’ll have a Pirates Marathon! (If I can stand it!)

Right, you’re talking about the second movie. I don’t think I’ve seen that all the way through. I was talking about the third movie.
