IIRC, Howard said the two extra sites were for him and Dannielynn.
Howard, my dear....Why were you so sure that Anna would never have another child? Were the sites purchased BEFORE the phoney marriage? (I think the receipt is someplace).
And if all this is going on, I REALLY, REALLY have a lot of trouble believing that Anna's will wasn't pulled at the time of Daniel's death.IIRC, in Seidlin's Court, Howard said he didn't even know his role in Anna's will and denied any insurance policies.
Wonder what kind of policies Daniel had. one in Anna's position insurestheir children. Anything less is irresponsible. In most cases, policies pay double for accidental and "0" for suicide.
I'm going back to find the grave receipt.
People in Anna’s position should insure themselves if they have children, yes. But did Anna? And how will we ever know? E.g, my stepmother collected my father’s life insurance immediately after he died, prior to probate. She was the only beneficiary, thanks to manipulation of him in the last months. We never saw an accounting of that ins., would never have known it existed if our father hadn’t mentioned it. Thus, if there was a policy, and the backup beneficiary was Howard, he could collect as long as Perper ruled her death an accident. How will we ever know that a policy existed? That seems to be how these policies work. They don’t get put into the probate estate.
Do you know if Ron Rale left Trope and Trope willingly or if he was asked to leave? I just can't see him leaving a distinguished law firm, but maybe he can make more on his own or with a smaller firm. I think T & T didn't want their name linked to the scandal and trash to come from any association with the likes of HKS. JMO
“...in Seidlin’s Court, Howard said he didn’t even know his role in Anna’s will and denied any insurance policies.”
Going back to the subject of life insurance policies. Sac, you state that HKS said he didn’t know his role in Anna’s will. That’s a bald faced lie. I’ve never known anyone appointed executor who wasn’t asked beforehand to play that role, do you? Second, he denied any insurance policies. If he was the only one privy to her life insurance policy, he could say whatever he wanted, couldn’t he?
Daniel’s death was the first step in this premeditated series of deaths. Daniel was the beneficiary of any life insurance policy, without doubt.
Next step would be to keep Anna under control, not thinking about her will so she wouldn’t change it, or about her life insurance so she wouldn’t update the beneficiary. Assuming here that HKS was the secondary beneficiary.
The role of the cups of pills every 4 hours were to keep the grieving Anna from thinking. And if she started to think, she could be slipped a drink of a hallucinagen that made her act like a little girl.
Next, find the right time and place for her death to seem natural. Thus the role of reducing methadone, which may have simulated flu symptoms, using dirty needles which caused a raging infection, adding multiple downers which kept her fatigued, muscle relaxants to make her muscles uncoordinated, all administered in carefully thought out doses to make them appear a little over the top but not nefarious.
The scenario of her illness is bought into by Moe and others in the tight circle. Anna was a medical mess one more time and HKS and KE appear to be doing everything to get her well. Anna in the meantime isn’t doing much talking about anything important, maybe about the boat which is a safe subject.
Then as the stage has been set, the boat is about to leave the dock, the witnesses have arrived,HKS and KE have left the hotel for excellent reasons, Anna is discovered quite dead beyond hope of resuscitation. There may have been another drug administered that morning which is untraceable. We’ll never know how she conveniently died when she did. All we know is that CH built up in her system over the few days it was administered for sleep. (Why for sleep when she was on 10 sleep inducing medications?) And in combination with 10 central nervous system downers, the chloral hydrate was toxic, she fell into a coma and died.
The last detail of the plan occurred when KE had her tete a tete with Dr. Perper. How susceptible is a freakazoid man like him to the pursuasion of a master mental manipulator, KE? Was he offered a cut of the money? Or something carnal as a roll in the hay? Or like Seidlin, was he offered an agent who could book him on Nancy Grace et al? He ruled the death an accident, not a murder, nor a suicide for the life insurance to pay off. The choice of accident worked all the way around for every party: the Seminole nation, the hotel, the police, the pharmacies, even the baby.
HKS can cash in the policy whenever he wants and use the cash (tax free) to pay for his expensive lawyers who aren’t about to work for nothing. The insurance company will not report the payment of the claim; certainly they are sworn to confidentiality. No one knows anything except HKS and KE. HKS is free to tell any lies about life insurance now. He can declare his parents are supporting him (maybe they were Anna’s beneficiaries!). HKS has a boat and access to the best places in the world for hiding large amounts of money from the US government. The choice of the Bahamas was inspired.
So what will HKS do for the rest of his life now that he’s without Anna and doesn’t have to work? Perhaps his sobs in at the Inquest are those of a man who gained riches but lost his soul. After all, who is he about, but himself?
Such is my scenario as I see it today: the simplest explanation of motive: greed, provoked by rage at being the lapdog of a moody, tempermental, diva for too many years. HKS doesn’t strike me as a man who likes to work hard. Wonder how his days will wind down? Will he continue to scheme and mooch, or will he become a recluse?
