What I'm speculating on is that maybe Howard visited Daniel before both onsets of illnesses and maybe had a hand in it. Maybe that's what sent Daniel to the P.I.

I watched the P.I. Harding recording last night. He told of how he came to meet Daniel - don't know if he gave dates. Will look at it again tonight and be back tomorrow. God willing.

I think I'm about ready for bed. I probably won't be around as much in the next few days because I've got to start studying for finals. After my finals Monday, I'm going to have to work on this puter. It's having problems and I think I'll have to reinstall windows to fix it. Blah!

Has anyone bothered to check ANS’ story that Daniel was hospitalized for depression over the break-up with a girl friend? Surely someone has looked at the hospital records there if the story is true. If true, it certainly doesn’t speak well of ANS’ ‘love and devotion’ to her son if he was hospitalized and she didn’t go see about him!

IMHO, this entire melodrama is riddled with truths, half-truths, and outright lies. We hear that HKS left the hospital twice after Daniel arrived, and now they're saying he didn't leave but once. If he tampered with the surveillance cameras, couldn't that be checked for fingerprints and see if any time is missing from the film? Doesn't it seem strange that G.B.T. and Shane Gibson and wife would be reported to have been in ANS' room? Don't they have visiting hours at hospitals in the Bahamas? This is more than weird!

Today is the first time I've read that Daniel was kicked out. If he was, IF, it was maybe the same reason ANS cut off relations with her mother. Daniel was concerned and met the PI - he had had a nightmare, seen his mother in a coffin, grey.

Now, I'm all worked up and gotta go look at that recording again.

That’s the same story that said they asked Daniel in the CA hospital if he had any relatives in Texas and he said no!

I just can’t imagine why they would ask that. Now I see - that’s something Harris just made up out of whole cloth to jab at Virgie. What a scumbag!

sad to hear Larry’s father passed away. Prayers to the family for their loss. I know it can be especially hard to lose a loved one around the holidays.

wow - 26 witnesses and we have so few notes on what was said. why is there what appears to be a news blackout in the usa on this?

the only questions i have at this point is, what exact time were the calls placed from howie baby to gben and/or gibsons? were the gibsons expected (visiting daily type thing at a certain time?) or were they called to come? as GBen says he was?

if there is not enough evidence under bahamian law to indict howie or name him as a person of suspicion, is there enough evidence under US law to extradite him?

I wish they'd stop with the "Police have said there is no evidence of Homicide". maybe they're putting it that way, so howie has no reason to claim poisoning of the jury pool?

ok, let’s think about the last time anyone we know was admitted to the hospital. The only ‘kin’ question I’ve ever heard, was the admission form asking for ‘next of kin’ for emergency notification.

I just can’t picture any medical staff putting any type of ‘note’ on a chart being that specific, i.e., that patient stated he had no relatives ‘in texas’. I could see, no relatives locally, mother in bahamas, just moved, no phone yet, contact adult roommate. Sounds more like a ‘howie-ism’ to say ‘in texas’. jmo

ANS, with aid and abetting by HKS, really badmouthed her mother and accused her of all sorts of things, when she is/was guilty of what she accused Virgie of

i remember someone saying that at the end of the mommy dearest tape, anna had turned to howie and said, is that enough? or something to that effect.

Have you read anything about a timeframe for the 'kicking out'?? We do know that Daniel ws there for his birthday in late Jan, and also that Daniel's belongings were still at the house and moved into storage over father's day this year by LB and HKS.

it has been reported that LB stated [the police were called?] he gave a statement to the police at the time about Daniel's alleged drug use?

Daniel allegedly told the PI that he had several altercations with howie, there was very bad blood, and that is why he thought he was being followed and was afraid for his and his mother's life. I thought I'd read somewhere that Daniel didn't move to Martino's until Anna left for the Bahamas?

ok - Moe said something very important - he said, Anna knew she had an infection !! and said she complained that her whole side of her body was swollen and hurt

If she told Moe, then it stands to reason she would have also told howie and khris, like for instance, when they were disappeared for 3 hours between landing and hotel arrival.

from rita’s book, king eric recounted finding Anna sedated and with a collapsed lung, after being called by howie that Anna wouldn’t go to the hospital (rule number one: no deaths at the Horizons). King said, all he had to do was promise to go with her and stay with her the entire time - just with that, anna allowed him to take her to two different doctors before they finally got to the hospital. It occured to me, that hospitals would be traumatic for Anna - walking back into an environment where her son died. She would need support and hand-holding. So, if Anna wouldn’t go to the hospital in florida, why wasn’t King called by Howie to come persuade her again?

Just today I worked with a woman whose daughter and brother are on methadone.I met the daughter last week.She looked out of it and staggered.Mom tells me she was given the meth because the oxycotton was additive.After a certain dose with the Meth they do not feel it but if they go below a certain dose they go into withdrawals.Her daughter was given Methadone because of back pain and is 22.She has tried to get off this drug but after the certain dosage level is not there she shakes all over,has the Diarrhea and throws up and she can’t do it.I also know a woman who has many druggie friends and she told me she has seen people take much more of the Meth than Danny was supposed to OD on and also with a combo of drugs.They say he did not die because of this combo of drugs and it was something else.

very sad to hear about the mother you are working with and her children on methadone...- i’m at a loss as to why doctors would even prescribe it for oxycotin addiction - trading one addiction for a more dangerous one, instead of just flat out treating the addiction with 24-hr medical support environment, doesn’t make a lot of common sense to me

I hope the daughter you spoke about finds the inner strength and outside assistance to kick her habit - how depressing to be addicted at 22!

if artie is allegedly releasing confidential information from daniel’s medical records, why hasn’t he come up with the records of anna’s alleged ‘detox’ in May that Goen reportedly said he never heard of?

I’m pretty astounded that they reportedly found levels equivalent to 20-some pills in daniel, with another 26 in his suitcase? How could anyone take 20 pills at one time? Maybe a hard-core addict, but still...that’s a LOT of swallowing unobserved by anyone!

I wonder if the pills were ‘loose’ or in a container? Just from watching ‘cops’ seems like it’s just a few pills that are bought at any one time from pushers. So 46 pills seems like an aweful lot - especially like you said, chancing coming thru Bahama customs and into a country where methadone is illegal. He was coming to rescue his mom, not serve a life sentence in Fox Hill for transporting narcotics fcol.

I wonder if there are slightly different metabolites for the liquid form of methadone versus the pill form? I just can’t see Daniel taking the same drug he reportedly told friends he hated Howard for getting him addicted to when he was younger and that he hated Howard for getting his mom addicted to. Makes no sense. jmo
