yes we have files... jj and dg just was not that high on the list of people to deal with. i am sure you realize how many truly bizarre people is involved in this case.. on top of that, by the time we took it, we were at a major disadvantage and had an aweful lot of catching up to do.. like this site for one, if i was that smart and caught up, i’d have been here a very long time ago! you guys did a lot of work.

This same Judge Chin ruled in favor of Al Franken when Fox News wanted to stop from infringing on their motto, "Fair and Balanced". If I'm not mistaken, Al Franken even admitted he used the phrase as an 'in your face' statement to Fox News. You would think a sitting Judge would have the intelligence to recognize what kind of people Lincoln Bain and HKS are.
Also, I thought this judge had already ruled *against* the expedited discovery last week and set a date in January or something for discovery.
Since Harris is gloating about this for some reason, I take it the “one specific aspect” that qualified for ED must mean something to HKS. And it sounds like the Judge got a midnight visit (knock on the door) to make him take another look at this. Howie & Leroy, *ex par-tay down, boyz!*

Stern, CBS Television and KPRC-TV in Houston have launched a triple legal broadside back at Virgie Arthur, and her Texas legal cowboys, denying all charges they conspired with her late daughter, Anna Nicole Smith, to defame, slander, trash or maim the reputation of a retired Texas deputy sheriff who thrust herself into the public eye.
Indeed, the responses to her defamation suit, filed in Harris County, Texas and first obtained and posted here on www.artharris.com, question how anyone could do any more damage to Virgie Arthur’s public image than the late Playboy centerfold’s mother has already done to herself. Beyond Arthur’s public antics, the petitions argue that Anna Nicole’s mother reinvented herself as a public figure, cite truth as a defense and maintain that, as for CBS-TV, which owns Entertainment Tonight, no one arm-twisted Anna Nicole Smith to tell ET of her horrid childhood under Mama’s bigtop.
Read and enjoy the legal rumble, as Howard K. Stern asks for a dismissal based on jurisdictional holes–he’s no native Texan, so not subject to Lonestar justice (whew), he argues; KPRC-TV of Houston says, hey, we only broadcast the ET interview of Anna, we didn’t produce it, so go smoke some more tumbleweed, pals; and, well, CBS argues all the above and more… and all demand not only her questionable defamation case be sent packing, but seek attorneys fees and maybe more.

My stomach cannot take F’Art Harris’ spin this early in the morning - or at any time.
He certainly takes pleasure in denigrating Virgie - it can only mean he had no mother.
Wonder how many people F’Art has drugged to death - besides those that he has bored to death - or who killed themselves just to get away from him?

If, as some of us suspect, HOwie has access to a network of corrupt court brokers - are they getting nervous about being exposed? Or are they all too powerful and experienced to worry about one Texan’s tragedy?
When O’Q was deposed, Stern’s attorneys were constantly “looking for Names” and constantly reminded of a little thing called “confidentiality”.
