Animal rescue/adoption center volunteers are the most underappreciated heroes. They have a reason for those *no dumping* contracts. Cute puppies & dogs are easily placed - it’s the old ugly ones who depend on *no-kill* contributions and adoption fees.

I have an 7 year old dog we adopted from a county animal welfare center. There was no "no dumping" clause in the contract. We adopted Molly when she was 8 months old. She had already been placed and returned to the shelter by TWO other families in the first 8 months of her life. Molly is a wonderful dog but she has serious problems that she will never get over. She is very nervous, high strung, gun shy...runs from strangers, and is terrified of the car. To her the car means another trip back to the shelter to be dumped again.

I suspect Iggy will have similar problems due to the poor handling of this situation by the animal "rescue" people. Ellen was wrong to hand the dog off but the "rescue" people should have checked out the new home and left Iggy there if those people were up to snuff. The "rescue" people could have sued Ellen for breach of contract in court without making poor little Iggy suffer the loss of a second home in as many months.

When the rumor started that Ted Gunderson, former FBI official was investigating ANS - I checked him out. He has affiliated himself with all sorts of strange conspiracies. Don’t believe he is involved in this case, officially.

If you check the history of Oil barons, past and recent, there are fascinating feuds, alliances and general malfeasance. It has occurred to me that the Marshall money was the driving force behind Anna’s & Howie’s *partnership*. But the Marshall interests are far bigger than just the personal bank account. Marshall’s sons fought over their father’s estate to exert control over his Company. Any *heir* of his personal fortune might have some leverage....or be able to limit other parties’ influence. Don’t know - but cannot believe that Howie has been operating on his own with no known assets or financial backing. His parents have supposedly *supported* him. For how long? For how much? For what reason?

I understand that one of the limitations for Iggy’s placement was *no small or young children*.

County animal welfare centers are NOT the same as rescue centers. Rescue centers have *no kill* policies. This means that old,ugly,problem unadoptable dogs are taken care of for as long as they live; their food, vet care and overhead are covered by the adoption fees and all the screening services determined to be appropriate. The shelters do not want *revolving doors* they want the best permanent home for their rescues. Ellen should have paid more attention to the shelter’s mission and the contract.

HKS heard to say, “is your baby still alive, Anna?”

In light of all that’s happened doesn’t this remark sound rather “strange”.

Foreshadowing is used in written art and film to give hints about things to come in later plot developments.

In the Clown Video HKS asks Anna "is your baby still alive?" Three weeks later her baby (Daniel) is not still alive. I see no coincidence in these two events engineered by HKS. IMO he had a production plan in mind for the event to happen the day he took the Clown Video.

That is the thing sod... Perper had the RX bottles and he is the one that supplied the dates! He is the one that tries to 'sell' the Cipro. He is the one with the job and the responsibility. He is the one that was so grossly negligent he states she took a bath and Cipro Monday night, went to bed by ten. But then he produces a list showing the Cipro wasn't scripted until Tuesday! How could Perper be confused, he is the one that made it all up. lol Not confusing to me to know that if the labs can't find it, tell you it isn't there in this day and age of easy identification .. then it isn't there. exactly...that’s what I was getting at. I’m suprised that Geraldo didn’t pick up on that and make that comment. (He may have..I didn’t watch that part of the show). I think this is very telling. There’s been too many coincidences when it comes to HKS.

Molly came from a county rescue center that is a No Kill center. Not all county run centers kill animals anymore. Molly was 8 months old when we adopted her and she was a full grown collie/hound mix dog. She was big and looked like an adult (”old” as you say) dog already. She was still very adoptable.

As for the notice that Iggy was not to be around children...Iggy WAS around children and seemed fine. Again, the agency should have investigated the home Iggy was in before removing Iggy. Taking dogs in and out of homes is harmful to dogs...especially young ones under a year in age.

Making Iggy suffer for Ellen’s breach of contract is not helpful to the dog they were supposed to be most concerned about. They could have taken Ellen to court and won a lawsuit that would not have further harmed Iggy and could have benefitted hundreds of other dogs. JMO.

I think he is taunting “joking’ in his sick psycho mind about the doll as Anna was believing it was a real baby. This shows he knew she was zonked out of her mind and not ‘acting’. I also believe and always have that Anna would never scare that child like that for anything in the world if in her own mind. She had her faults but tormenting little children for a joke wasn’t one that I have ever seen over any of her years.

You missed the point. Howard is someone who had a grand plot in mind (a story line if you will) for how things were to progress in the ANS story he planned to sell to ET (and others). Think of it as a screenplay if that helps.

Foreshadowing is a key tool writers use to make the story more interesting to the audience. You might read many books where you don’t pay attention to the tools writers use to advance the story but that doesn’t mean those tools aren’t employed deliberately by the writer.

In no way do I think anything HKS was doing...especially WRT to videos and publicity releases was an accident including that comment about whether ANS’ baby was *still* alive. Everything he was doing was to advance public interest and to make the maximum amount of money from the production of his devious plot line and story.

In the case of the dead baby...HKS added a surprise twist to his ugly story. One might guess from ANS’physical condition on the Clown Video tape that DL might be the baby who would not live...but I believe HKS already knew which baby was really going to die in the next chapter.

hks is the money machine. Ben Thompson quoted howard as sayng that “this will bring in a lot of money”. Just like the video and all the other photo ops he chose to film. This guy must be stopped.

The Microbiologists who participated in the autopsy noted "several SIGNIFICANT findings". The autopsy states, "Alternatively, the introduction of foreign material via cutaneous injection into the buttocks served as a nidus for a localized infection that then spread into the blood. The possibility that a contaminated product was injected into the tissues cannot be excluded since the likely substances injected into the buttocks could not be attained or analyzed." The fact that Perper chose to overlook this finding is remarkable. You would think a forensic pathologist would be drooling to get to the bottom of such a rare finding. No pun intended.

The Microbiologist suggests that the bacterium has been known to be contracted in the ocean (via open wound probably such as the one on her buttocks). That is a outside possibility, but at the very least, a good detective pathologist would make note of any report of these bacterium being contracted in bathers in the Bahamas.
