Low Fying plane, engines whining, nothing on the news, called local tv and they said several calls coming in.
I am right off of Hwy 70 near Lowe’s and I was not the only person that saw this. I will probably sound even crazier now, but my dog was even freaked out.
Thank you for providing our Saturday night entertainment. Don't take the jokers seriously, you just gave them something to do.
Unless of course, the plane was a crop dusting fanatical from the Religion of Peace. Then you will have tipped us all off and be a Freeper legend.
Let's just plan on a fun evening.
Dont let anyone discern what you saw. You saw what you saw. What it means, not sure. Thanks for posting.
Raleighwood, with all due respect, You’re not making much sense! You must be more descriptive. What was unusual about it other than it was a low-flying plane? You aren’t giving us much information! What was so scary about it?
What’s the frequency Kenneth ?
Lake Wheeler Raleigh, NC
Sneakers...........a passenger plane where I could see the words........engines LOUD and I know this can’t be good. Have you ever just known it wasn’t right?
Thanks Raleighwood. Keep us up on any details. And be careful.
Raleighwood, you are posting in a forum with national and international readers.
We do not know from where you are posting, nor do we know what or where you were looking at when you made the observation.
Let’s keep it simple, if you want a sincere response.
Where were you (city, county, state, country?, zipcode, some clue as to where) when you observed this?
What size of plane? I assume ‘fying’, was meant to read ‘flying’, is that correct?.
Passenger planes might range from Piper cubs to 767s, so about what size? 5 passenger, 20? 100? 300?
BTW, welcome to FR. Some people are naturally suspicious of those who simply want to post to get attention as they do exist, so half of the posts may be abrasive simply based upon your scarcity of information and status as a new join.
Now had the poster had something substantive to say about the situation, such as where he is located and what exactly he saw, I think that the responses would be more on the civil side.
> Passenger plane, ...
Airline, corporate, military, private?
> ... engines whining, ...
Propeller, jet?
> I should have known Id get killed on my first post.
If you’ve been reading since you registered over a
year ago, you:
a. know what to expect on a content-free vanity, and
b. might have put something relevant to the topic
in the subject line.
> I really just want to know if anyone else
> saw it that I can trust.
On the internet, you can trust almost nothing.
Did this apparition crash?
No, No, Martin, he typed in LOW FLYING, those are high rise...
(LOL)
Boy....that was one ass whipping I woulda enjoyed having a hand in.
Gotta agree with you ... the lack of details is a red flag.
From Google in Santa Ana, CA last weekend,...maybe this is a trend.
Beware Low Fying Aircraft!
Low Fying Helicopters over Santa Ana ...Did anyone see the low flying military helicopters flying over Santa Ana and maybe part of Orange Saturday, Sept 8th, around 11am and 2pm and again Sunday
(First black helicopters, now low fying aircraft...)(this is hugh, and might become very series!!!!)
BTW, here (California) a week or so back there was a lot of airplane noise for a long time (around 15 minutes). That was sort of strange.
My complements that the post was not titled, “Do not post to me!”
Sorry for my infancy regarding FR, some are so cruel. Raleigh, North Carolina, United States of America, Northern Hemisphere, Earth......................................Looked to be a passenger plane of the corporate kind....meaning silver American Airlines, Delta, whatever, a big freaking plane okay? For those skeptics out there, regarding non posters, this thing shook me to the core, which prompted me to post. The next time may be the end of the world.
