I probably could have waited a bit longer to put the kisses in. But it worked better once I put them in the freezer before putting them on the cookie. They’d set up nicely by this morning.
Those are the “Candy Cane Kisses.” They have a peppermint flavor added.
I only got out a few of the special Santas. We usually put them on the mantle. But this year I put the boy’s nutcrackers and snow globes there.
And, thanks for the offer of the flowers, but I think not.
We figure if arming half my siblings doesn’t get us disowned, nothing will. Besides we need to set some precedents as the really weird ones before anyone else gets married and starts being jointly weird.
I know! I’ve been looking at getting an XD40 for a while now. On the way home from the gun store I called a friend of ours to see what he was doing Saturday and he’s going to go to the range with us. He is incredibly jealous as the XD is the one he really wants but he’s a college student and can’t afford one.

My Mama and Daddy took my two younger sisters and me to see Ike and Tina in concert back in the mid-sixties. Yowsers what a concert! Daddy commented that the women were a little too far down in their dresses. ;o)

Wish you could get a close-up of some of the flowers. They look purty from what I can tell, though! Like yellow roses...my favorite.
