Holy cow! Quite a storm!

We have cloud cover and they actually will be removing the extreme heat warning sometime today. Supposed to get down into the eighties this weekend for the high!

Nope, not under water here, but apparently Houston (east of us) and San Antonio (south of us) both got vast amounts of rain.

I'm off to work!

Seriously, what’s with Texas and all this rain this year? Not being in drought is one thing but you’re gonna have to start building arks down there.

I’ve got DISH, but only the 100 channel package. I’m too cheap to get the 200 channel deal. But I did get my DISH internet hooked up this week and so far it’s been pretty nice. The FR Saddle Club pages with lots of pictures on them load up in about 5 seconds whereas they take about a minute on dial-up. I haven’t tried uploading pictures to Snapfish yet, but that’s on the agenda for this weekend. It did lose it’s connection this morning when a big thunderstorm came through, but I expected that, the same thing happens to my TV.

Jr. did the responsible thing on the way home and stopped at Walmart for s’mores ingredients.

Ha! I like his priorities. That's cool. ;-)
