The Hobbit Hole XXXIV - But better than rain or rippling streams...
Posted on 08/07/2007 7:52:15 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Well...not really, but it *was* a long day, and I *is* tired. Glad I'm home. *yawn*

its not the opener that makes a knife dangerous, fercryinoutloud. Its the sharp edge and the pointy part, yah congressional dimwits. no... it's the hand that wields it what makes it dangerous... remember... knives and guns don't kill people... I do...

while I got no problems usin’ a rock tuh bash some $#!theads brains out, you are absolutely correct that a precisely constructed quality piece of steel brings an added sense of job satisfaction tuh the endeavour...

So, Luke says tonight, “I love chocolate. In fact I love chocolate so much I’m going to marry it. Whipped cream can be my ex-girlfriend because I love chocolate more...”

So my other son, the college student, came in from work and said “I’m going to the church to play hide and seek.”
Apparently this is not the first time.
No good will come of this.

Hee, great photo.
Talon and I stopped at the craft store on the way home... he was looking for markers... I wandered around and found myself on the crossstitch aisle and said “hmm, I could do that”. And now I have a project. It’s pretty cool and once I’ve got a little skill I can do cooler things.
