Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Absolutely!
Oh and take a little notebook for character sketching... there's some real characters in airports. Woah nelly!
Heh...I have to find my connecting flight!
OK for those of you who know what I ~do~... tell me how funny this email is that just came in from the National Office.
“Subject: National Office Phone System
We cannot receive calls at the National Office currently. We can call out, however. So if you need to contact us, please email and we will call you as soon as possible.
Thanks.”
Adding to the irony, IMHO, is whose building they are sitting in the middle of, and whose system they are using.
Yep, definitely will be bringing writing materials.
Err...oops.
But I *like* figuring out snacks for trips. I’ve always found that kinda fun. Like when Margaret and I did that long car trip - we did do some splurge meals like ordering pizza from the hotel, but we also had fun picking out granola bars and other stuff to take.
It’s a lot less stressful to be able to find a nice quiet corner and dig some snacks out of my bag along with a book or notebook than it is to stand in line at a food court, dragging my bag and hoping I don’t have to throw my lunch away when I get to the plane.
For me, anyhow.
I do plan to spend money on food at home. Gotta go to the bagel place, the local diner, the ice cream parlor, the candy store....
Unlikely. The only thing they get extremely hyped about is trying to bring outside drinks in through security.
Love to eat them fishies
Fishies’ what I love to eat
Bite they little heads off
And nibble on they tiny...er...fins...
Ruh-roh...this does not bode well!
But...if she falls in, I hope you get pictures. ;-)
I’ll try :~)
Also makes me think, though...there’s a good chance my dopey dog might attempt to swim in something like that...
I bet he would ;~)
Seems like theys a way you can find out...
I’m sure I will find out.... next week. :~)
Well...take pictures...
Oh, when we drive, it’s like an army moving on it’s stomach! But to avoid any hassles, I don’t even bother bringing food to the airport anymore, unless I want to eat it before I go through security. You could go on the airline’s website just to see if they clarify what’s allowed and what’s not.
We flew back in August, there were restrictions on liquids and gels but not food. Take an empty waterbottle and fill it up at a water fountain if you don’t want to buy water.
Kitteh sez: WANT!
