Okay, so my hard drive is makin’ lots of noise. Kind of a loud hummish kind of sound...

If you’re sure it’s the hard drive and not a fan then yes, that is not usually a good thing. Not if it’s just started. Is it just humming, or does it make any other sounds?
It’s about to blow up... back away slowly ...

You know me, I’m not sure of anything.
I just rebooted and it sounded more like the fan, but I’m just not sure. This started a little bit last night and has been going on all day. I’m trying to clear crap off, but it’s also moving very slowly.
Ok, you need to get a can of compressed air and blow out the whole computer. If this is a desktop, open up the case and blow out the inside, especially around the fan/through the vents, if it’s a laptop blow out the fan vents. See if you can confirm that it’s not a fan. A fan is replacable and won’t kill your computer right off, hard drive is trouble.

They are having fun... Barkley’s enjoying having someone around that will actually play with him :~)
Our dogs play that a lot. Mostly with sticks, hence we call the game “I got the stick!”
We are taking our pups to Jen’s folks tomorrow. They are liable to give their old retriever a heart attack. The vet’s office scale early this week said they are up to 61 and 70 pounds. They are pretty skiny for labs though.
Well, I hope the pooches are well behaved for their trip to the folks. :~)
They’ll be fine in the car. And we’ve asked my folks to get a cage for them, so they should be ok.
You ARE taking the pups’ crate, aren’t you? They’ll need that for protection from the two year old! ;o)
Well, it'll either keep you young, or age you prematurely. ;o)
Ha! I didn’t realize Barkley was so much shorter than Cisco!
