This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
Thanks...no I don’t think I’m going to put anything back on the walls.
You know all that memoriblia that I had on the walls was the hardest things to take down. It was all stuff, postcards, posters, etc from vacations we had taken...lots of good memories. But from what I have learned from the “Sell this House” shows...it’s better to not have much if anything on the walls. I guess I’ll ask the realetor when I find one what If anything I should put up. Everything is off the walls thru out the whole house, it’s pretty bare.
What do you think?
Becky
Probably the green one. :~)
I think you’re probably right. Plainer is probably better for people looking at the house. You can put it back up in the new place. :~)
Well, I had already clicked the green one from your first advise, It just moved it over to the side of the screen. The red one closes the window, and the yellow one moves it to the bottom of the screen but leaves it open.
Becky
Uhhhhh....I think you mean EAST. You know, the OTHER west. ;o)
Hmm... can you grab the sides of the window and move it wider? Do any of the menu options at the top say “Maximize window”?
AHHHH...that worked:). Thanks.
Becky
Too bad the numbers are darkened out. It probably goes to somewhere cute.
The land clearing guy was here this week to clear out some spaces for us to run the new fence lines. He had this machine that looked like a bulldozer (maybe it was a bulldozer with an attachment). He would drive up to small trees, and this thing would knock over and cut down the trees, then chew them up and spit them out as .. mulch. Cool.
I'll be able to see the barn and pasture from my house a bit now.
Sort of like those people in Japan who bought lambs from unscrupulous people who said they were poodles, and then took them to the vet when they couldn't bark and wouldn't eat their puppy chow. :-)
Maybe so. I’m just wondering why Hair sent it to me after I asked a cat question (grin)
Well, we’ve got the truck washed and hooked it up to the trailer, the tack put back out there... the pony has been quiet pony powdered, now we’re going to have some lunch then....
...Go for a trail ride!
The momma cat up and left them. I’m bottle feeding 4 babies:’(
This guy goes by Radar because he used to have a mule named that.

The office looks good. I wish I’d thought to get those type of blinds - I’ll bet they don’t get nearly as dusty as mine.
Oh no - Something must have happened to her. Praying she shows up again, safe and in one piece.
Great pictures. Tell me the guy was mounted BEFORE the horse went up on the rocks in the second picture. Nobody could get up once the horse was that high right?
Remember I told you that she was starting to distance? Well Thur she kept laying on her belly. Finally she rolled over and had such a resigned look on her face. Not happy at all. Friday morning she wasn't with them. She was laying by her food in the garage. When I opened the door she walked slowly to it and started to come back in and then went out.
These babies won't drink out of a bowl. A friend of mine at the SPCA says it maybe be several more weeks. Cute little tykes though. I know. Where's those pics?
Bob got out for a ride today too -
I spend six hours listing horses for sale on four different internet sites. Wish there had been a way to cut and copy :)
I was hoping to get part of the garden in today but it’s gotten too late in the day to start that I think.
