This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
No - she just seems to stay clean unless it’s raining. The other two are always rolling around on the ground.
I haven’t seen any snow yet but I saw the most beautiful sunset today.
His skelton probably caused some gulch to be called Dead Man’s Gulch :)
Very pretty.
LOL - probably so. :-O
Thanks.
Do you have the picture she took with a flashlight too? That was one of the best pics I have ever seen.
You think it’s dropped even thought it’s not pointed in middle? Yes, she waxed up before I even left. Hal is rubbing udder balm on her bag everyday. She was still eating like a hog this am.
Are you there yet?
Is it a vacation? I’ve only been right over the line from Nevada in California. Looked the same.
I didn’t save that one! :~o And yeah - you’re right, it was a great picture. I don’t know why I saved the one I did.
Nice pictures of yours this morning! :~)
That does look like the same kind of edema... it’s just fluid... I guess in woman, it all pools in our ankles, where ever the lowest spot it can flow to. It reabsorbs eventually.
She sure ~looks~ like she’s getting close!
Very pretty pictures:)

Good morning:)
It was near 80, yesterday when I went to work at 1:00. A cold front came thru yesterday about the time it got dark, and today it is windy and cold.
I have been moved to the Lawn and Garden area of the store to be a cashier there, and I think I’m going to really like it. I worked my full 8 hour shift and had no discomfort. The pace there is a lot slower, so it is not so difficult. Maybe by the time they shut Lawn and Garden Dept down next winter, I will have the stamina to work as a regular cashier, altho, I think I really like being in L&G:). The registers are set right in front of the big entrance and exit doors, so I can see out side, and I’m surrounded by flowers and garden supplies:)
The other people who work in the dept, at least in the evening all seem to be teenage kids, who sneak off into corners and chat their shift away:)...it’s kind of funny.
I saw 2J and her boys outside the store today selling candy bars for a trip her son is going to take with his church choir group. During one of my breaks I went and visited with her some.

Oh cool! Yeah - I would like the lawn and garden area a lot better! And you know something about the flowers and things, so that’s helpful too!
The WalMarts I’ve seen turn the L&G into Christmas in winter, so you may not have to move. It’s stays busy. Glad you get to see out and lots of color and foliage.
Good to know it’s not dangerous. Makes sense comparing to people.
Maybe she’ll foal this weekend while I’m off.
Supposed to rain today and part of weekend.
I got the Frontline ordered this morning. The lady that I usually order it from is out and said she hasn’t heard from her supplier since December so I went ahead and made another Stateline Tack order for it instead. A couple of girls here at work needed some too so we still got the free shipping. I could’ve ordered it for about the same price from Jeffers and gotten free shipping too but we would’ve had to pay state sales tax, so I figured it was worth it to wait a few extra days to get it to keep from having to pay extra. It’s hard to believe I just ordered over $300 worth of FLEA STUFF!!
Wow, I would LOVE working in the Lawn and Garden center! Now you’ll be able to see when the best stuff comes in and get it before it gets picked over.
