This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

I’m glad y’all are getting ol’ BayMan and Cyn shaped up. They’ve been couch potatoes for much too long, and so have you and ecurbh! ;o)
That Pony is a hoot!
We’re cutting Cyn down on the Power Feed. I think it’s doing Bay good, but Cyn’s too hot on it. She settles right down, but she sure wants to come out of the gate at a run. Might just be attitude too... no one’s done a thing with her since October.
Bay I want to lunge as close to every day as I can, maybe a few short bareback rides to get him in shape to start easy riding the first of April. I promised him I would lose weight over winter and I didn’t. ~sigh~.
Pony is still pony. :~) I should work her pretty soon too... you know... twice a year whether she needs it or not!

We ride hornless. Less accidents that way.
It was 26 when I pulled out of the drive w/Faith.
It was close to 40 by the time we started riding. It was 55 on the way home. We rode almost 13 miles in less that 3 hrs. Bladerider and hubby stayed longer, but I had to get for Aiden’s B’day.
I’ll haveta watch it when I get home. Can’t watch streaming media here. Grrrrrr!!!

Looks like an efficient way to exercise 8 horses though. Maybe I ought to look into that. {yeah right}
