I was a little concerned with her lack of experience and the horse's, but that is what she wants. I hate selling horses and I really hate to sell him. The situation is not good right now, so he will probably go. They wanted to know if I would come down in price, which I am not doing.
Some of those 13 year olds are scrappy little riders and do great with a green horse. As a ‘stay on and bear with it’ rider, I was probably better at 14 than I am now.
Ya, me too. I stay away from those people.
Hi honey :~)
Holy cow!
Thanks for letting us know. Don’t think I’ll be venturing out of the saddle club for awhile.
Aint that the truth, me too.
My concern was they would not get along with him, sell him and he would end up going from place to place. The girl felt she really "clicked" with him, so I expect they will buy him.
Alison and I are just going back into the woods, so I doubt I will take the camera. In fact, I better get going. :)
Here’s a pretty good video.... short.
Horse keeps working the cow after his rider has fallen off.

Question - I have a couple of pictures of the new horse uploaded at photobucket - how do I post them without them showing up huge? I posted small files but the actual size on the page might be enormous.
It’s so hot the corn’s popping in the field! ;o)
Seriously though, it’s been 107/108 this week, but it’s cooled down somewhat today. It’s only 97*.
Are you in Alabama - because that sounds like our weather.
Well that's just RUDE! I thought political debate was what FR was all about, but apparently not. :-/
You can always put a clause into your bill of sale that they have to give you Right of First Refusal if they ever decide to sell him. It probably wouldn’t hold up in court, but that’s what I do.
Awwwww, he’s cute! And he looks like a sweetie too.
If you’ll put a < p > (without the spaces) between your text and the picture, it’ll start a new paragraph and the picture won’t be scooted over like that.
How’d the lessons go the other day?
Yep, up near Moulton.
Those are great pictures of your new horse... congratulations :~)
I am in Blount County. I have family down near McCalla, AL. We have ridden in Tannehill State Park a few times.
LOL, I love the picture with the feed pan. He has a personality that for sure.
Alison and I had a nice ride. When we came out of the woods, we went across the road, on the lease well acess road. Houses and lots of new things for Jody to see. She did fine. I just wish she would pay more attention to where she puts her feet and would not trip so much.
