This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
Ours get two meals a day, I have to vaccum every day to keep up with the dirt and hair that they track in, so they get maid service, as well as lavatory service for the litter box. In addition they get, first pick of the best seats in the house, the little usurpers! We also remove any pests at no additional charge. This week alone there have been 4 frogs, 1 bird, and 1 garden snake. All alive. A very large bull frog was dropped in my lap last night. You can just imagine how uh.. surprised I was... screamed so loud that the cat went and hid under the couch.
LOL - an extremely dirty horse :)
What a beautiful cat :)
They had their fill of the tuna on the box...
Then Sister1 one got down and started playing with all the ropes on this post... carefree as a kitten :~D
Sister2 just watched... not very brave about these things...
I decided that next time I will bring a tempting mouse on a string or something she might want to play with. In the mean-time I started wiggling my toes... She watched... She was VEY tempted. She almost went for it.
That's it for tonight I think!
I think you've got the customers on the hook -- now just reel them in . . . slowly . . .
Rain today and I have a dentist appt. Not a fun day.
Ain’t she cute?
Good morning all :~)
Ugh. We just got dental coverage back, so we’ll have some cleanings comin’ up.
Thank you. Eloise believe it or not is now 17 years old and still going. A bit thinner.
She's figured out that you're harmless and a Provider of Bounty, so she's displaying her kittenish wiles to try to ingratiate herself with you and keep the Bounty coming . . . .
I am so glad to meet another Siamese lover who knows about the torties. They weren’t around when I got my first several siamese. I have had the blue, seal, chocholate and lilac points and red point. I had another tortie, Gabby, who you could really tell was. She had the bluest eyes I have ever seen. I will try to find a pic of her. What I love about them is the color changes they go through. When they are little kittens, you really can’t tell much. Eloise looked pretty much like a seal point. Anyway, I suppose you can tell I love the siamese. LOL
Kitties can look so pitiful when they sit and watch like the one is watching sister play with the ropes.

I didn’t either until I saw one from a breeder. That was my Gabby. When I got her, I didn’t know she had gingivitus. I took her to vet.(she was about a year old) The vet removed everyone of her teeth and blasted me for not taking care of her. I told her that would have been hard for me to do since I had just purchased her a day or two ago. I also told her who the breeder was and she was surprised as it was a client of hers.
Anyway, Gabby lived to 14 years old and gummed dry food and wet food the entire way. I loved that cat. They were all my hearts and souls.
Good morning.
Must be dentist day...I’m going this afternoon to watch Tucker because Jenny has to go. She has a wisdom tooth that has to come out.
Our weather is still warm, but today it’s hazy and humid.

Very true.
So far nothing from my cats since they don’t go out. LOL
However, my shiloh shepherds have presented me with a squirrel and a possum. They didn’t tear them up; they just I think broke their necks. Of course, I had to praise them without to much dancing around on my part.
I could not imagine a bull frog being dropped in my lap. I would have to let out a very big scream.
Speaking of Jenny, Steve said something kinda nice yesterday and I thought I’d tell ya...
We were heading back home from Walmart and the traffic was very heavy heading back toward the river. I commented “Sure is a lot of people heading toward town...wonder why?”
Steve replied “They’re going to get their hair cut.”
Heh! A kind of sideways compliment from Steve...who’s on the quiet side, you know.
LOL...that is very nice:)...tell Steve thank you.
