This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
Heh, I imagine that selling those rocks around there would be like trying to sell ice to Eskimos. ;o)
But making rock walls with them would be a good way to get them out of the way. I guess that’s why there’s so many rock fences around pastures in Ireland.
LOL...I think he’s figuring out this lunging with out a line:)
He looks really well, seems to be moving smoothly.

Ya think? Yeah - he’s movin’ good. Got his heart rate up, got a little sweat going, he’s feeling good.
So are you all riding this weekend...I’m really going to try to ride tomorrow. Might even get out this evening on Rock, then ride Harley tomorrow.
Becky
It looks like it might be good to go Saturday... supposed to rain a little Friday and Sunday.
I love Siamese cats. Absolutely adore them. They’re very smart cats.
Thanks Beaker! That is helpful.
Her name is Eloise.
A calico siamese mix. Must be QUITE a character! :-D
I have had 8 siamese. None of them except a male, Sid, I had were very big. My aunt had one named Petunia and that cat loved to sit on top of the fridge waiting to pounce on someone.
I had two when they were babies were in the back bedroom. I closed the door and went to the kitchen. Darn, if I didn’t look up and there they were. Went to see if they had opened the door and no they had not. Those little toots flatten themselves out and went under the door; so I put a towel at the bottom when they had to go in.
She’s not a mix; and she is as sweet as apple pie.
I hope I don’t sound mean; but she is a torti point siamese.
Guess I'm lucky mine's black, it doesn't show . . . . as much . . . .
Yup . . . dogs have masters. Cats have staff.
I bred exclusively Blues - if you have Seals in the bloodline, it puts a beige tone in the body color, and if you have Lilacs in the bloodline it washes out the "true blue" color. And when I was in the racket, the Torties and Tabbies and Reds were so new, nobody in the South was breeding them. All the cats of my breeding have gone on to their rewards, our last remaining Siamese is a Lilac that my daughter chose from a breeder out in Paulding County.
